It didnโt, we didnโt win the tournament like we should have done and the play was generally still awful. Kane is the centre of that. We had 4 central midfielders yesterday and the idiot still dropped deep. In doing so, he made the two best passes of the game. He dropped deep because with four central midfielders in the game, we were still unable to pass forwards and instead had Pickford operate as playmaker. He dropped deep because heโs a moron. As ever he got in the way and wasnโt where he was actually needed.

Given he is always in the wrong place his scoring record must be appalling His goalscoring record is up there with many world class strikers but let's not dress up his performances in this tournament which have been very poor. His hold up play has been non existent which is something he is normally decent at and other than his goal all he's done is drop deep and put us under pressure by doing so. That left side has really unbalanced this team and Kane clearly needs a player who is willing to make those runs in behind. Sterling would massively improve this team with his runs, Watkins could probably do that job and maybe we would see more from Kane. Football is about partnerships and this team doesn't look to have any players that really suit Kane's game

Heโs got the same effect that ronaldo has on Portugal. You canโt drop your biggest goal scorer and name because of the reputation he has. Yet he makes our team worse the same as ronaldo has done for Portugal this year.

"You can't drop your biggest goalscorer and name because of the reputation he has." Why not? It's literally been like playing with 10 men having him in the side so far this tournament. We've scraped through to the semi final without having any target or any striker offering a run/option. It's quite impressive.

I dont think you ever clearly made any points on this messageboard about whether you rate him or not. Ive looked everywhere, and I cant find you mentioning him at all. So you rate him or not?

Harry Kane is England's all time record goalscorer. He's Spurs record scorer with 280 goals, all at the highest level. As well as being a world class goalscorer he can pass a ball. All in all we are lucky to have such a player. We are desperately lacking pace to provide him with chances though. Foden offers nothing if he's not going to run at defenders. I'm not sure if Southgate is willing to change anything though

Thereโs nothing to consider really mate. Heโs been dreadful, never in the area when you need him. Why he thinks he has to drop deep is baffling heโs no pace for when we get in good positions which is rare I know but is like playing with no one up front. Needs to play Watkins who plays of the shoulder.

During every game when Iโm sitting in a group to watch the games I have said Kane looks like he is carrying some kind of injury but wonโt mention it because he hopes to improve his goal record, nobody has yet said you are wrong he is having a great game. Van Dijk wonโt have much to worry about with him in the air or runs behind him , Watkins will at least make runs to move him and give Foden and Bellingham the chance to go to the edge of the box in a space created. Kane is worth playing for the last 30/25 when defenders are at least tiring a little bit

Has he been coaching the penalty takers, some of them were very Kanesque (at his best)!

He got them up the other end and really hassled the defence, but unlucky with a few breaks. I think Watkins is the closest weโve got to him.

we need someone with the acute quickness of mind and foot to provide the service Harry needs to get the goals....alas this england squad is lacking a Son.....perhaps the home office should have given him a uk passport!!

Trouble is the idiot manager hasnโt given any of these Kane back ups a chance in friendlies and qualifiers so now nobody has any faith that they can actually do the job

And yet, despite Kaneโs dogshitness, we are in the semi finals. Itโs hard to please some people.

Very characteristic Stoke attitude. Yeah, sure we won, but we were shit. Yep Doesn't matter how you win in these competitions You need the big performances now. Dutchies will be tough though but central midfield not good. Final third are dangerous First team England facing with a really. decent attack and get it wide quickly but concede chances Memphis, Dumfries and Gakpo a handful Going for a 2-2

Only player to score twice Bellingham You didn't let.me finish Only player to score twice Along with Bellingham ๐. Struggling for goals in general but Kane getting the brunt of it That's not great but still going . Doing a bit of an Argentina 1990
