Bloody hell, everyone at work was sure it would be him. Be in mourning still after the death of Pike Popey is holding a candle lit vigil at his butchers as we speak

4,100 at vile park tonight Huge support 😅 Showing whoever the new manager is what a sleeping giant they are. They are in the drop zone now although they do have two games in hand, not that it will matter with how shit they are. I take comfort in that however shite we are they will always be a hell of a lot worse.

Ratcliffe at Utd wants to turn Old Trafford into a 'Wembley of the North'. Hopefully the Vale take them to court.

I had the misfortune of going last night(with work). I know we haven't been brilliant this last few games, but my god the Vale are poor. They have got absolutely nothing in that side. They were totally out played by Orient. If they manage stay up I'll be very surprised.
Quite liked the look of the Orient number 11, think his name was Theo Archibald

They just look that poor, they normally have a half decent player or two who their fans get behind and hang some hope on. However they've got absolutely nothing. There's apathy at Stoke amongst us fans, there's even more at the Vale. They tried get a "flitcroft out" going but no one could be arsed. Its a club dying a sloe death at the moment.......... not as I'm complaining, my two nephews and brother in law have been a fucking nightmare this last few seasons

A lucky escape for you there.

Who was actually in charge of the Vale last night? It seems like the manager and the entire coaching team have been sacked. The only one remaining appears to be the Teflon “Director of Football” Flitcroft.

A couple of Vale fans I know squarely pin the blame for their mess on the DOF. Not the owners for appointing him.

At least theyve outlined the role their DoF has had the last few years. None of the nauseating backslapping ours always preside over despite us being fucking wank.

Is that the Flitctoft who played for Man City or just a bloke with the same name ? Last time I really paid any attention at all to them they had some mad fella who used to come out with bizarre stuff on Radio Stoke, was he called Machin? Was some ongoing transfer with a player from the Caribbean he did a strange interview about signing , how he was holding his dossier as he spoke etc and at the end of it I was convinced they had unearthered the next George Weah.

Dave Flitcroft is Garry’s bro. Garyy played for Man city Didnt Machin write to the sent saying he prayed for a Nuneaton late winner against Stoke and sure enough it happened!? Also his ambition was to have Vale in the top 6 clubs in England!!

Ainsworth would make sense wouldn't it, he'd keep them up too but it wouldn't be pretty. Although I backed the Potteries relegation double yesterday at 103/1 excellent odds those

Never forget smurthwaire suggesting he was all set too hire a young black manager who’s name escapes me right now but decided against it as the vale fans were too racist too deal with him Live on radio stoke too!
