He’s been here for eight months. Chill. He’s a brilliant little player but if you look at his goals and assists so far it’s all pretty much the same. Cutting in on the right and getting shots and passes away with his left. Now people from outside the club are starting to sit up and take notice of him, opposition players and mangers are all going to be focusing on not allowing him to cut inside. He needs to develop his game and improve his right foot to add another string to his bow. It’s pretty obvious what he’s going to do, he stands the defender up, quick burst inside and shoots. We know, the opposition already know, but it’s another thing being able to stop it. He had 2 or 3 other really good chances yesterday that came from other passages of play, probably should’ve finished at least one of them. He’s just a very good player for this level. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s brilliant. As you say, knowing it’s coming and stopping it happening are two different things, but if he wants to realise his full potential and get to the top I do think he needs to develop his right foot and just have the ability to go outside occasionally to keep his full back guessing.

He does go to and sometimes along the by-line though, although he is admittedly very left footed. Tenacity is also an excellent feature of his. The downside is that he'll probably whisked away from Stoke if he continues his outstanding performances.

Yes let’s see how he get’s on when he gets man marked the whole game and the opposition start doubling up on him. It’s going to get tougher for him and it’s the next challenge for him. He may well be up to it and we’re going to find out in the next few months. We should have the quality across the front four or five to exploit the space left by the opposition doubling up on him. Hopefully he and Junior can get a good partnership going which creates space for one or the other.

True but like Shaq, he's so quick at that shoulder drop that defenders seem to know what he's going to do but still struggle Shaqiri was more one footed than a pirate but could make that space.

I know it was undisclosed but I thought we paid 4m for him so seems weird that they've decided to discount his value. Or maybe they know we paid 3.5m and have left it at that. I'm no valuer but he must be 8 or 9m realistically now..

He does go outside to be fair but yes he could do it even more When Koumas is playing on the other wing would like to see them swap sides during games

Yeah but I'm talking about people using it to guess what a player is worth now. There's no way he's worth that now if we sold him.

We’d want at least 10m but I think it’s good for kind of what their value actually is. But then like every club you double it and add 5 🤣

Was thinking how he might adapt when he will inevitably get shown outside more often. The sign of a very good player is adapting to that. I think Schu could help him too by tactically overloading the right so he can lay off onto the right and give the defender a decision to make. If teams start doubling up on him, it leaves space for others. We really need to exploit the very most we can of a good player.I’m excited about the future.

Hoever helped with that as both flying was impossible to deal with Junior can power forward but doesn't have the same technique however he is younger than Hoever so Junior can develop his attacking style more

Those criticising Million know his dad's an MMA (29 knockouts from his 32 wins) and kickboxing champion right?

The double save their keeper made, Million was coming through the middle. The forwards we now have I think could now play in a much more fluid way.

I've just read this article and I must admit it's given me some paranoid concern. www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-million-manhoef-melvin-9532518#ICID=Android_StokeSentinelNewApp_AppShareI remember back when Sammy Bangoura was briefly banging in the goals and looking like he was going to be our new hero, and a similar article appeared in The Sentinel with an interview with him about how his true love was basketball and he didn't really care for football all that much. A few weeks later he went to AFCON, was late returning back and spent the rest of his time with us (and his career by the looks of it) mostly out of the team and constantly in trouble with disciplinary issues and not turning up to training etc. Probably won't happen with Million but I must admit it does concern me slightly that he has such a strong passion for another sport that he's considering retiring from football early to pursue it

The last player of ours I remember being this good at cutting in and shooting from the edge of the box was Peter Beagrie.
Particularly memorable because he virtually single handedly won me the Sun Dream Team league and cup double at work 😃

Love the ambition:
If he gets us to the Premier League he can retire whenever the hell he likes, and if he gets us to the Champions League then he deserves a statue outside the Boothen!

Leeds Utd when they get promoted maybe…..
