We’ve just got to enjoy him for the next 4 months. He’s heading right to the top! By some distance our best player since relegation. I’m still a little surprised there wasn’t more rumoured interest in him in during the summer.

It seems to have worked out well going for him in January over Bocat and still managing to get Bocat a few months later.

It starts , playing in the champions league next year after a few good games 🙄 People were saying it last season too and for good reason. Again I’m not sure people quite understand what we have with him. He’s a Dutch u21 intl. The Dutch coach was livid he moved to us because he believes he’s better than this level. And he’s fucking right.

Not many of your others appeal though eg calling the manager a Coward which he clearly isn’t and wasn’t today (you should post an apology for that by the way - but you don’t have the humility or the balls - unlike our Manager). Anyway, just this once well said about Manhoef - he is special.

And I still don’t get why it bothers people. It’s very strange.

He came on for his home debut and looked so much better than anyone else and that was after not seeing him for 2/3 weeks. More overly cautious shite.

The lad could score a lot of goals this season.

I know the window is shut, but what bid would it take to prise him away. I think 15m

He will score 15+ goals this season and have a lot of assistst too, so I wouldn't consider selling for less than Bham paid for Stansfield. He might even be worth more before the season is over!

I know he plays in a different position but there’s something about him that reminds me of Steino.
Low centre of gravity. The way he strikes the ball. How he shoots so much in and around the box.
He’s ace.

I’m not denying he is quality but we had this with burger and junho now it’s manhoef , yes they are top quality players but why keep saying we won’t keep them, can’t we just enjoy them

As much as I love Junho and think he can be a Premier League player, replacing Manhoef will be more difficult when he inevitably goes.

Today’s goal was more Shaqiri than Shaqiri himself could manage.

Today’s goal was more Shaqiri than Shaqiri himself could manage. The very first YouTube clip I saw of him when he was linked in January just screamed out he was a Shaqiri regen didn't it?

Why are half the posts about him being sold? It is a bit strange from Stoke supporters to be honest.
Why cant he help us get promoted to the Premier League and gets a big wage rise while Leeds and the like fight it out in the Championship??
10 years ago we were buying Shaqiri, Bojan, Arnautovic and the like.
Its little old Stoke syndrome at work.

If we aren't promoted he will be gone next summer, but hopefully for big money! I really can't see us being promoted after our last six seasons, I actually don't dare to dream because I know I will be disappointed in the end, I believe!

Its little old Stoke syndrome at work. Because we've been wank for years and so it's far more likely than not that we'll be in this division again next season than get promoted. Obviously it'd be great if we could get up and if Manhoef stays fit and Cannon adds the firepower we need then it could be a possibility. But most fans are just dealing with the balance of probabilities, and that says that we'll probably still be in this division next season and keeping hold of him beyond the end of this season could be very difficult.

It’s also why I want to see these players played so we can actually appreciate them.

It’s also why I want to see these players played so we can actually appreciate them. If we are in the top 6 in January with Manhoef the top scorer on 10 or so goals. No way will the owners sell him for whatever money. Getting 25M for a player is worth nothing compared to the potential 100M of winning promotion to the Premier League. We are NOT a selling club, its just we have to abide by FFP rules. Surely Coates family has proven this over the years? Even if they are completely incompetent in other ways.
