Our only decent defender is in Africa! But but Wilmot, he'll make all the difference, after all his stats are good 😂 I think we are both agreed that Wilmot is no upgrade on anyone we have on our books.

Quality from the Sunderland fans there for Gooch... Should think so he's let Clarke have the freedom of the pitch.. He is literally the only threat they have and the fact we have not been tight on him all game is worrying. If you stop Clarke you stop Sunderland and we have let him stroll around all day.

Every manager we get their ex-team perform better after they’re gone. It’s like a curse.

There’s only so many times you can play well and not get what you deserve. This is what happens when you aren’t on it. Confidence will begin to wane and the manager will start to have doubts. Not saying we are near that stage yet and we have picked up enough points to look like the manager has got his approach across, but we are still clearly very weak where it matters.
How we’re losing this 3-1 and lost 2-1 last week Christ only knows but it keeps happening and did at times under Neil as well.

That was really worrying. To only notch one comedic own goal when we have had four or five clear chances is just appalling. And the defence is just wank. Come on Nigeria send Junior back to us. Presume at least we might have Stevens back in LB next time? Not that he's been a star performer but the Thommo experiment is over, shirley?

Left when the 3rd went in. Thought we looked good first half, too many chances missed. Second half was embarrassing.

Because the alternatives are no better? But at least they've played together before. The full backs were far worse than the centre halves today, anybody can see that

But the main problem for me is that we'll never get any goals out of Leris, Haks or Vidigal. Maybe I'm going crazy but the good bits of Haks play have been his ability to hold onto the ball so maybe he could play centre striker? And Vidigal can clearly score as we saw earlier in the season. That said, I've kind of written those 3 off in my head now. Don't expect much from them but we're kinda stuck.

If you can't score you can't win. It is a simple game after all. Very disappointing.

Looks like Beale has wound them up again in his conference. Could be fruity if we take the lead - of even if we don't take the lead! He’s an absolute div. He said the team won 4 of our last 9, so doesn’t know what the complaints are about. 2 of those wins were when we had Dodds in caretaker charge, and he’s seemingly trying to big himself up including those games in his 4 from 9 comment. To go from Mowbray to him is just shockingly poor. Evening haway...trust Stoke to make Beale look like the next great hope!

But Cundle worries me. I don't see what he's brought but it seems he's unbalanced the midfield.

Because the alternatives are no better? But at least they've played together before. You'd never have guessed that from the performances. I'm not defending Wilmot but it seems to me that the manager has been giving him a chance after coming back from injury. Now he knows that ALL our centre backs are crap.😏

Campbell is really bone idle and should never be starting.
I also have no idea what Lowe is supposed to offer. He looks very slow and completely ineffective. He needs to go to league 2 on loan to see if he can cut it at that level.

I don’t just know what to think anymore, we have had plenty of chances again, played some good football but just can’t score. Need at least one new fullback, a striker and a central defender.
It’s demoralising, Schumacher has made massive strides with the players but some of them aren’t just good enough.

There is not one player in that team, bar perhaps Burger that is a leader. The rest of them are all without exception confidence players and not what we need for where we are. I fully expect us to get relegated from here on in unless we can somehow stop the rot and get a couple of back to back wins very soon. I can’t see it, mentally weak at the back and front consistently and confidence is draining after the “new manager” bounce….

Poor.
We’re just so non clinical it’s unreal.
Those chances we missed in the first were ridiculous. Especially Cundle, who btw is awful. Archetypal nothing player.
We’re definitely getting better chances.
But as we become more expansive our poor defence gets highlighted.
Another season of just complete nothingness.
Another Easter weekend of football with nothing to play for.
It’s just boring.

His distribution and defensive positioning is woeful.
Get him gone.
