Alan Nixon reporting that he’s set to leave Which one is it? Your thread title says 'Alex Neil sacked', yet your OP says he's 'set to leave' So again, which one is it?

Just seen this myself & says that Eustace is expected to be approached.
Don’t know how much truth is in it but personally I don’t fancy Eustace to do well here.

Never thought I’d ever say this but given our current predicament I’d take Warnock. We are in desperate straights but not that desperate!

We don’t really know that, because they’ve been so badly managed up to now. I’m not really advocating any particular style of football, just saying we need a manager who knows how to get points in the bag from this group of players. Whatever style that may need. I think a decent central striker could transform this team. Until then we are just going to have to muddle through. Don’t expect these players to grind out points though it’s a recipe for disaster as we’ve seen the last few games. I suppose its whether they were not bothered with him here. They may just ignite with a new face

Don't expect Tricky to get the boot just yet surely?
Technical director/DOF don't tend to go because the first manager failed.

Fuck knows why but the more I think about it the more I think Frank Lampard would be a good appointment. He did brilliant at Derby and then did well originally at Chelsea when he went to them under a transfer embargo. It would be total football and he would get the respect of our over seas players. Just could well work

Hope it’s true. I’d rather have Mowbray till the end of the season. Better pedigree and works well with young players. That said anyones an improvement on AN. Who ever gets it I’d give them till the end of the season and if they keep us up they get the gig.

It’s not Christmas yet, plenty of time for a new man to get his style across and climb the table

Please, not Eustace. Love the bloke but he wasn't great on the whole at Brum and his football isn't great on the eye Let's buck the trend and go progressive Didn't he have them 6th before Rooney took over. Or does that say more about Rooney

If he does go and we go in for Eustace. It proves one thing. The Board at Stoke have literally none of their own ideas. They react to the wishes and demands of the Fans. There is literally no Leadership. Very Worrying.
