Really frustrating overall. Saw him at Shrewsbury and he looked like a dynamic box to box midfielder. Moved to Reading where he was a bit more of a sitter but still looked decent. Early decent form here has faded to nothing. That said, he's played under three different managers plus two caretakers since 2022 so I guess that takes it's toll after a while. Gives off a vibe of arrogance and hard done to. Don’t think he’s either but certainly a vibe that’s held him back. Good luck to him but have to say, delighted he’s moved on. |

Laurent and Campbell were the absolute core of our dressing room. They might be nice people but they sure helped create a mentally weak culture. Yeah I thought this as well. Laughing, jovial jesters but it didn't work and this is the reason we need a rewire. A move to work hard play hard would be more suiting. I wish him good luck though as he seemed a decent guy. |

He was the captain and he completely threw in the towel and gave up, the way he acted and played was nothing short of a disgrace and shows his mentality. |

This is good news as I’d imagine he’s on a fair wage.
Decent player on his day but that day didn’t happen enough.
Good move for us and him.
Hopefully we’ll get in someone decent to replace him. Still hoping for Cundle.

I don’t think that’s quite true but yes the problem is between his ears if it is a problem at all. He’s very easy going and probably a bit of a gentle giant. A bit too nice, a bit too smiley, a bit too concerned about the potential harm that could be caused by using his physicality ruthlessly. I doubt it’s a problem to him, I doubt he takes it anywhere near as seriously as his detractors want him to. At the end of the day if you want someone who thinks it’s a matter of life and death you’ve got the wrong man but why should he compromise himself to please you or me?? He should get stuck in and give his all in every game because he plays central midfield for a professional football club that pays him a shit tonne of money to do exactly that. Not really about pleasing anyone is it. Of course it is it's his job. Some people are keen as mustard and some do enough to get by it's the same in any workplace some want to please, some do enough not to jeopardise their pay end of. Some people are keen as mustard look like they're working really hard/fast and are still less productive than the other non pleasing types (Gooch). |

It's a case of he just didn't do it on a game to game basis and when he didn't which was frequent it affected to team. |
