The Clarets retain the option to extend the 29-year-old's deal by a further 12 months."

The reaction to his departure seems over the top to me.
He wasn’t outstanding by any means but we’ve had a lot worse.
Not many players have moved up directly after leaving Stoke in recent years.

I can’t wait for Lawal to show him up for the fanny he is when we play Burnley. Stop saying these things and jinxing it!! Agree with majority on Laurent - he is a good player but doesnt seem to turn it on enough in games. I have my thoughts though - does any player consistently shine in the Championship midfield battle through a whole season?? Dont get too excited about Lawal - he does look class but its been at a lower level than now. Hes not going to take the league by storm is he lets be honest. Just a slight improvement on Laurent/Baker would be realistic |

It's frustration, we've all seen what he can do but he very rarely does it, it's worse than seeing players that just aren't really good enough imo. |
