A shame to see him leave but also not a shame. Had the potential to be a fantastic player but something has held him back - hard to say what really. Gets a lot of stick for not having much heart but he runs all day. I actually think he’s a bit thick and a bit of a limited footballer too. He’d do well playing the Pearson role I think. Glad to see we’ve got some money for him. Not sure why we’ve waited to the last minute to offload 3 midfielders though……

Laurent hasn't persuaded me he could do that. Otherwise agree with the shame but not a shame. I like him but regularly felt disappointed. |

I’d say 5 good games total since he’s been here but absolutely bang on look how far our standards have fallen with this guy actually deemed the required standard. |

It's a shame he never really played with any consistency if he did he would of been a great asset to us. However I have a feeling that behind the scenes he is on the lazy side, more fussed about being everyone's mate rather than the leader the team needed.

Anyone else notice that there is nothing about Josh Laurent on Stoke city official website ?. I may have missed something, but normally they put something on saying thanks and wishing you well in your new adventure ,,,,,, but nothing ! wonder if there was some bad blood behind the scenes and it was a case of good riddance as was a bad influence on the others ????

A more useful Baker without the goals. Another one all shits and giggles when on top, but turns to shite when under the cosh. Kept waiting for him to 'come good' but never quite made it happen.
