Fantastic fight, he was never going to hurt Denzel but what he did do was stop him from landing that big right, kept him at arms length and landed the jabs and combos when needed. Not an underdog anymore !

Thought he was spot on tonight with his game plan throughly deserved his victory the bet 365 is calling for a big night of boxing with 20 odd thousand cheering him on.

The stand up back flip in the 8th or so round when he slipped over was the moment of the fight for me. They were both tired but that was Nathan saying...oi Bentley I've still got plenty of gas in the tank and I ain't giving up.
He fought like a tiger. Fair play to the lad. And his celebrations, that meant the world to him 🙌

All the so called experts predicted a win for the other guy within 4 or 5 rounds but they didn’t anticipate the fighting spirit of Nathan as he out foxed & boxed the bloke right up to the bell in the 12th round.
Get him on the pitch before kick off with his belts as that’ll get the crowd going and Nathan deserves a brilliant home coming reception.

not a big follower of boxing but i did watch is fight lastnight it was a good fight both lads went at each other but on the night our lad deserved is win really pleased for him. he did himself proud and stoke on trent,,also the stoke fans were great,

He wears his heart on his sleeve and his infection for fans and the City is so infectious. Went watch him in Birmingham couple years back now and I never thought he would have won the British Title, it just shows what hard work and spirit can do.
Would have loved to have gone last night but sadly not enough spare cash. Can't wait for the homecoming at stadium, if there's someone who deserves it it's him.

Bunce got it right after the fight, saying it should be about a big homecoming fight and generating as much cash as possible. He fully deserves it and hopefully he can get a couple of decent paydays.

He's a top bloke and deserves everything that he gets.. The gap between his last two fight were 7 months and 6 months which ties in for around May /June. Perfect timing for the Homecoming event. |

If you get a decent show together the ground would be full I reckon. |

McGuigan was one of the top fighters for crowds that decade v a great fighter
