We’re playing football we could only dream of a month ago. We’re a completely different prospect now, we should have won that today burger was onside.
Imagine being unlucky not to win under AN. Didn’t happen.

Yes there are - probably six or seven, I'd say. I don't think relegation is an issue really - so much so, that I'm struggling to think of what changes we should make to the team realistically, apart from getting a left back in. Playoffs can't be the target surely, so maybe Schumacher will put the team under the microscope until May ahead of more major surgery in the summer. Would help with FFP too. Playoffs would be a dream Midtable security realistic this season and hopefully we have found a manager to kick on next season and have a real tilt at the top end finish

I think we need a good window as we still aren't really out of trouble - Good win for Wednesday and everyone is still fighting - we go to Rotherham soon as well which is somewhere I hate going to

Rotherham is massive.
We definitely need a win.
Whilst we have been playing better under Schumacher, we’re still 1 win in 12 games.
Only 7 points above the drop.

In the form table, they are 6th over the last 10 games above Ipswich. 16 points in their last 10 games. Their new manager is performing a small miracle with those players.

I'm a bit worried we'll burn out like Bielsa's teams used to, or get fucked by injuries... but under Schuey I look forwards to matches and I think we'll stay up.
Huge improvement in terms of commitment & belief from the players. Maybe a little luck, but Watford had their tails up after the goal and we could have panicked after the red today, and we took a point each time.

Tony Pulis started his Stoke career with three points from three draws in his first nine matches and only two wins in his first 16 matches taking him to mid February. Admittedly it took a last day win to avoid relegation but I think as long as you can see improvement and a sign of us playing well and showing spirit and the longer we go unbeaten then the omens are good. Anything above half way will be brilliant but somehow I trust this manager to do that even with no more signings.

I think we will stay up comfortably. Sheff Wed have picked up a bit but are still 7 points behind. Huddersfield don't look great and Birmingham are sinking fast. If Rooney stays there much longer, they could be in big trouble.

Wasn't he unable to take a job due to his court issues with Gills . I think was lifted a couple of days before he joined us and Burley did a Jimmy Hoffa

Massive game today to try to put more distance between us and the bottom three and start to look up the table rather than down it.
We'll know a lot more at 5:30pm.

Im not one to ask that threads to be put in in thew shitbin, but I think ones time is over. I quite like it’s existence. There were plenty of people saying the squad was abysmal, and appointing a successful young manager instead of some brick wall staying up specialist was too big a risk. Gives anyone who considers themselves part of the ‘happy clappers’ group something to chuckle at anyway.

Yeah our lack of goals worried me during the unbeaten run because I didn't think it would be long till we started to let a few in again. Unfortunately the lack of goals is continuing while the goals against are starting to rack up again. The result, defeats starting to pile up again. Definitely in the shit.

I said a few weeks ago we were still fighting relegation and I got laughed at.
I’m not wrong.
I don’t think we’ll go down but it’s going to be tighter than many realise. We are, still, REALLY shit and I think some people are underestimating that.
