Are Hull one of those 12 teams? How about Norwich, Millwall, Ipswich and Preston? Running out of teams... Today the first time I’ve felt seriously worried. (Didn’t watch Huddersfield so can’t comment) You can point to misfortune in many of our games this year. You can make arguments that we should’ve won at Millwall, the Preston game was tight and could’ve gone either way etc etc. Its a relatively easy fix in those circumstances; cut out the stupid errors and become competent in the final third. Today was horrendous though. We got bossed. And the issue is we could find ourselves in a death spiral. Confidence disappears and we simply have no idea if this group has the bottle to dig themselves out of a hole that a run of negative variance can create. And the fixture list is only looking tougher than what’s come before. No I’m not confident. |

Another defeat, on to Bristol City...
All feels so flat at the moment, real come down from an exciting pre-season and opening day.
Huge imbalance in the squad, decimated by injuries already and the defence are shambolic.

After our next 6 fixtures I fear we'll be firmly entrenched in the bottom 3. If that happens, and the pressure starts to mount I'm worried that our squad looks to be lacking players who'll roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to dig ourselves out of trouble.

Still not sure on this, we need players fit and firing. We can't seem to get any sort of consistency as has been the case for about 6 years now.
We're definitely one of the weakest teams in the division as it stands - just hopeful of improvements through the season.
It's a marathon.

We are weak in every department including effective Management. Things can turn much uglier than they currently are. We are not convincing anyone that we are a Championship squad at present. It is dire.

To reach just over the magical necessary 50 points. We need 6 points from each group of 5 matches. That 6 points from a potential 15 points.
It a shame in some ways that it is a results count sport. It adds pressure

The defence that’s supposed to be crap did pretty well against one of the top 2 attacking sides in the league. Just hope we can keep putting a team out the injuries just keep coming. |

Can't say I share your optimism. I hope we can improve as the players get used to each other but as it stands we're not good enough at either end of the pitch. I actually think this is probably the weakest side we've had since relegation. |

Considering the injuries I wouldn't say we have settled into any rhythm yet. Just how long is Mmaee going to be? I think the last two games have shown improvement over the first handful, we'll improve further just like Neil says himself |
