This is worthy of a bump, still early days but when you combine that with the evidence of the past 7 seasons it doesn't look good.
We're weaker than last season in most positions and we weren't far off the drop then.
Who do we think will be in and around us at the bottom end of the division this season?

Make no bones about it, we are gonna be in trouble. We lack fight, pace in all areas, cohesion and interest.
The team has no stature and no bottle.
(I'm still fuming)

From today’s evidence we are a weaker (physically and competitively) outfit than the end of last season.

Go out and get a beer or a shag . It’s August and half our team going forward haven’t played 90 minutes yet. Whenever did we collect Stoke fans like we have now.

Let the transfer window end at least before spouting this tripe.

To be fair, we hit the post twice and one of those led to an absolute howler, on other days, they go in and it’s a different story. We’ll be fine. I think.

I don't necessarily think relegation will be a bad thing if the financial rules allow us to strengthen more than we can at the moment - but I don't trust Coates and Walters' ability to do that one bit.

Hull will be right in the relegation mix imo, thought they were shite. You can see why they’ve struggled for goals and they won’t have charity fc gifting them three every week.

A better team than us would have really punished Hull last night. They gave the ball away in some dangerous areas. Cardiff look poor as well from what I have seen.

A mate said to me today there ae six down there for the drop. Wednesday, Pompey, Derby.....and Us . Plymouth and Hull. I think the first three have the fans and club together focused on survival, the second three wont have that passion behind them
So Stoke, Plymouth and Hull, likely to go

Does anybody know what the record is for the most amount of consecutive bottom half championship finishes is?
Everton aside, you can only circle the plughole so much before the fine margins catch you.

I remember a paper commentating about our fans and Alan Ball and singing us all rhe way to Div 3. It's meaningless at the end of the day and its down to the players and manager.

Yesterday was really poor but after sleeping on it and listening to 606 today it did make me realise how early the season still is.
If you look at the PL West Ham and Palace have had poor starts and there’s an argument equally as bad as us.
Will they go down? I doubt it.
There’s still so much to play for still and lots of positive changes that could happen between now and May. We just have to stick with it.
We have a decent set of players who just aren’t functioning at the moment but that can change.

'Odds checker' says Plymouth, Portsmouth, Cardiff, Oxford and Preston might be worse than us.
Yes we're rubbish but hopefully better than 3 of the above.

I think a lot will depend on how much of a tune we can get out of Koumas and Cannon. Without goals we are buggered. Clearly Manhoef having a good season is key too. I think we've got to start playing Sidibe now. He might be young but he's look a cut above anything else we have in midfield whenever I've seen him.

I’m also banking on Lawal being as good as he’s been portrayed. If we can get to January with out heads above water we can hopefully make a few improvements too particularly with a RB who can defend and a central midfielder though hopefully Pearson can come back like the player he was at Preston.

I think we can beat all the teams in this division as there aren't any stand out teams this season, we can also lose to every team in the division. It's about attitude and taking the advantage when you have the upper hand. I wasn't able to watch the Watford game, but we really could have won all the other games if we had taken our chances. Unfortunately it seems like we need 5-6 good chances before we are able to put the ball in the onion bag in most games. If we could become more clinical we really should be able to compete for a top 10 place, but there is this if of course .....

Are there 3 worst teams than us after Friday night I'm struggling. We look like a team that is going to struggle again no leaders can't score & a defence that looks likely to concede every time they are put under the slightest bit of pressure.

Just watched the West Brom v Plymouth game on itv player.
Bottom line is that the team at the top of the table (well second) are a team of pseudo basketball players.
How we have managed to bring in quite so many short arses is a mystery to me and we will end up at the wrong end of the table because of it
