Gotta just keep our noses above Rotherham, weds, Hudds and Qpr Days like today dont help given we cant win at home We beat rotherham 4-1 and 6-1 earlier in the season. A couple of weeks ago we just scraped past them 1-0. That’s how far we’ve fallen and we’re still falling. Bringing in 18 new players (9 on loan) was a huge mistake. 500 years ago Machiavelli said you can’t win a war with mercenaries because they disappear when the going gets tough.

I think there aren’t.
It depends who has the will to fight the most.
Personally I can see us just sneaking into that last relegation spot.

As it stands at 4pm today we’re just 6 points clear of the bottom 3. In 2 games time we could feasibly be sitting in the relegation zone. Haven’t seen anything in our recent performances that suggest we’re ready for the scrap. Worrying times, hope it’s down to my half glass empty approach but I feel us sleep walking into real trouble again.

Talking to a Leicester fan walking back to the car, his opinion is that there aren’t any teams worse than us in the division and he couldn’t believe how bad we were.

It appears it changes each week, overall I think yes. Some weeks we can can walk away from a game and go erm 🤔. Take today on the chin 1:0 5:0 upto mentality of everyone to see it that way cus no one would of expected us win today, super shame that’s the state of where we are, cus really you want believe you have a chance every game. Does such expectations exist any more in how money has divided football up. Bit odd every satdee should be an fa cup game.

No / yes ……… which team are WE talking about ……. The team that took to the field today is as WEAK a Stoke side as I’ve seen in 52 years of watching Stoke …. But …….. if jnr and millions and Ennis start next week I would argue that we are a different side
Never gonna beat the foxes today …. Let’s hope we’re better against teams around us Got to admit though ,I thought it was a poor team from the start today

I fear this is exactly the kind of game we will bottle....again as our bunch of mercenary pussies won't have the stomach for it. They will come, compete for every ball and chase everything, we won't, and we will turn in on ourselves when we inevitably make little mistakes, and won't put in the legwork to support each other both in and out of possession.

There are definitely two teams worse than us.
Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday.
After that it's questionable.

Talking to a Leicester fan walking back to the car, his opinion is that there aren’t any teams worse than us in the division and he couldn’t believe how bad we were. I was thinking about this earlier - if you were to ask a Leicester fan who the worst side is in the division, they'd have to say us. One complete no show when we had a desperate injury crisis, and that farce today. When you look at the shite at the bottom of this league, it's unfathomable to think we are amongst it, yet here we are!

I would say 100% Rotherham, and then I saw us play Sheff Wednesday at home and they were the worst team I’ve ever seen, and yet by full time I thought they deserved to beat us…….just let that sink in.

Let’s just think:
Leaders on the pitch- NO Solid defence- NO Natural goalscorers- NO Confidence- NO Team Unity- NO
What does that recipe mean? Yes at this point in time we are undoubtedly one of the three worst teams in this division. We may scrape survival, but the summer “rebuild” we were waiting for has somehow managed to set us further back than before.

Today was a disaster but hopefully we can get some results against teams in and around us starting next Saturday.

There are definitely two teams worse than us. Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday. After that it's questionable. Rotherham probably - but that's not through a lack of desire or attitude, they punch well above their weight in this division and with a little bit more quality would probably scrape it through turning a few of their narrow losses into draws and draws into a few wins. After that, in terms of technical ability we are probably better than a fair few sides, however, most of those sides will work for each other, be better organized, know how to manage games if the momentum is slipping from them, be fitter than us and have more resilience and character - for example Cardiff and Plymouth and probably even Hull and Coventry. The thing is that this isn't a high quality league apart from the relegated sides and Ipswich, and none of them will do any more than maybe just about survive in the prem. The fact of the matter is that if you have a side that's fit, will run through walls for each other and are well managed, they will be towards the top end of the division even if they lack real quality - Millwall are usually up there and they are woeful, same with Preston. And look at Luton last season, similar with Huddersfield and Blackpool when they went up - nothing to fear in terms of quality but they knew what they could do, stuck together and picked up results when they needed to, not bottling it. Finally, of course, is ourselves in our promotion season. Only Fuller was genuinely someone to fear - even Lawrence happened to have the season of his life that season, but on paper it was a very average side, but we had leaders and real men who dug in and found ways to win, unlike this lot of prima Donna mercenaries. Simples

I'm banking on there being three worse teams and us beating them in relegation 6 pointers, however I'm now starting to properly worry. I don't blame the manager, this is solely down to recruitment and not having enough grit in the team to win ugly if needed
