If anything it’ll create more interest in him home and abroad, probably PL teams will start to bid? It defo means they'll be sending scouts to monitor him i reckon 😥

Sideways move and he knows it. Non-story. Prove yourself in CL and then get a move to PL? I'd argue a season in the championship is a better gauge of a players overall game than a season in the dutch league.

It's the same argument used with the Old Firm teams, isn't it?
If you mess up the Champs League, it's back to Ross County and Livingston- or, in their case, Go Ahead Eagles or Volendam.
I think the Championship is a better league and certainly equally visible to Prem scouts. But the temptation of shining in those handful of CL games must be huge
I don't think he'd lose out particularly as if he shines in the Eredivisie, teams will move for him regardless. But a good season for us, and Prem move looks nailed.

Feyenoord > Basel > stoke Are they 'greater than' symbols? Works for me.

I'd argue a season in the championship is a better gauge of a players overall game than a season in the dutch league. CL though. Yeah fair point if he gets enough minutes in it. I just think if I was wanting to see a players overall worth if I watched him dealing with the physicality of our championship and putting in really decent performances that'd outweigh the dutch league. I look at players like Antony at man utd who came out of the dutch league and I think he's struggled in the prem. From what I've seen of Bae I think he's well capable for our top league now. Hopefully he gives us another season and we sell him for 20 plus million 🙏

But a good season for us, and Prem move looks nailed. We don’t need to sell and I doubt very much Feyenoord are in any position to make us an offer too good to refuse. We shouldn’t stand in a players way but neither should the player create if we say this is the value we place on you if a club meets it we will accept and you’ll be free to choose. Much as I like watching him I don’t think he’s done anything yet to merit a progressive move.

Do they currently have the next Bergkamp or Van Nistelroy? Certainly not looking at their national team.

Dunno if this guy is reliable, but he's got 25k followers including Sky journos and Fraser Fletcher. 9m euros seems pathetic though, so can't see it

Tell Feyenood to F off. He’s staying!
I hope we can at least get one more season out of him at Stoke. He will be in the PL in no time at all. I am praying that it is with us!

Not as drastic as people like to think but it is low. The only good thing about that article is the club don't appear to have been daft enough to put a champions league clause into his contract. We might end up with Bae on a new contract with a realistic release fee if he does stay.

We've got previous for selling the family silver for peanuts.
Hope this is bollocks as I think this coming season will be key for him and burger to see if they can continue where finished off. If they do we should be asking for top dollar.
All hinges on how we start I guess.

We are used to the club under selling players. Simple as that. The guy has a lot of hype around him, young, now a full Korea international, Got people like Heung Min saying he is the future of Korean football. That is not over selling him. It is the truth. If he goes for anything less than £15 million then it is a complete joke. Especially when you have the likes of Bidace and Greaves going for £18 million.. Best outcome..new contract

For someone with his talent he should do better than he has. Greaves has had 1 good season. Before then he was pretty much an unknown.

He is quality though hope we keep him but don’t believe half these rumours The difference is the Burger to Spurs rumour was one source and not a reliable one. The Bae and Feyenoord rumours are multiple sources and one of them is very very credible. The same one who was the first to call Burger signing for us.
