And as the ball was coming in for both of those goals I've thought to myself, 'What a shit corner'. A clear tactic. Hopefully opposition defenders don't catch onto whatever hand signal he's using to indicate the type of delivery. That aside, I love Jun-ho and think he's a bit unlucky not to have a goal or two already. Way better than Manhoef's from the other side. Jun-ho's corners are whipped in to the near post so there is always a possibility of the ball being flicked towards goal (by forward or defender). Manhoef's corners are floated over, which gives the defenders (especially when they are 6ft 4+) the advantage to either head clear or pressure the forward to head over or wide. Against a team like Millwall there isn't really a lot of point in going much beyond the near post because that would have just been meat and drink to Cooper and co. Considering how poor aerially we are across the board I think we are probably overachieving at corners

Bae Jun-ho was nabbed for an interview and shared his thoughts about Stoke and Pelach as well as the National team:
π£οΈ"I think I fit well with the newly appointed coach Pelach The coach likes me a lot and trusts me. He also finds areas where I can excel tactically. That's why I can show good performance, and the team plays without losing. I think it's important to show this performance on the national team. We haven't lost recently, and I think we've played well.
π£οΈ"I'm confident, and I'll work hard to show a better performance on the national team than when I was called up last time. There are many players on the national team who play in high-level leagues. There's a lot to see and learn from, and I learned a lot about what I lacked while playing the games myself. Naturally, the improvements I made in Stoke are showing well."

Just doesnβt score goals . A sort of championship version of Grealish I'd take that! Grealish would be 1st on my England team sheet, so if Junho can be that good we'll have a belter

He has certainly been more influential the last few matches, which is a good sign. He is a lovely player to watch. Yes his end product isn't always the best, but an awful lot to admire. Reminds me a bit of Adam Lallana in the way he seems to glide over the pitch.

Just doesnβt score goals . A sort of championship version of Grealish If he does add goals to his game, he'd be gone in the very next window. The Grealish comparison is a very good one though, I'd not thought about it that way before.

Just doesnβt score goals . A sort of championship version of Grealish Needs to be a bit greedier. There have been a few times recently where he has chosen to pass instead of have a go himself.

Theyβre almost complete opposites as a player but both very good at what they do well. Which I think is a good thing, as they both offer something very different.

I thought the game against Millwall was by far his best this season, the positions he was picking up was causing them all sorts of problems.
Hopefully this is a sign that Pelach has found how to get the best of him and those type of performances continue. Still needs the improve the final decision of course, the one where heβs basically running through on goal and tries a pass to Cannon that was never even on was poor.

Since the second half against Norwich he's been very good, needs to carry on at this intensity and add a few goals to his game along the way.......
