Was this in Hem Heath cricket club. I observed a similar conversation between two chaps there He’s clearly a good footballer but I have said all along his output does not regldftbhis approach play and Saturday was the same yiu can se tge bar he needs to attain with Koumas ahd it’s still a fair way off . Thats why I don’t think big bids have come yet Isn’t it a bit early to be wearing winter gloves ?

Some random bloke started talking to me after the game yesterday. He reckoned Jun-ho was a shit player and that his next club will be somewhere worse than Stoke. Bizarre. I’ve said for years our fanbase are the thickest in English football.

If he hasn't been I'd highly recommend the Little Dumpling King on Piccadilly to him. Fantastic food!

Hopefully I bump into him in Stone as a little Japanese / Korean cafe has opened up this week. Love that sort of cuisine and I know he said in an interview he goes to Manchester a fair bit to get authentic food.
It’s good to see different cuisines opening up in the local area. There was a cracking thread on the EE board a month back on decent curries.

Also seems to go London a lot too when he is able. But he seems to love the Hanley tesco most 🤣

I really think he should be an 8 now. Banging on about it a bit, but:
He's obviously not a central striker. He's not an inside forward, like Campbell. He's not a winger, like Manhoef.
But he does have excellent composure, passing ability and ball control. He's an attacking midfielder, the left side of the middle three.
Plus, our front line should be Koumas, Cannon/Gallacher and Manhoef on merit now anyway.
Much as I like him, I don't care what the man himself says. He isn't finishing any chances. He isn't beating a man for pace. He isn't muscling anyone off the ball.
So he's the left of the middle three for me, with Burger or Bosun behind him and Moran beside.
And what a prospect that is.

The more I see him the more he reminds me of the great Alan Hudson with his composure and box to box midfield play. Afraid if we don’t get to the PL this season or next we will lose him.

I think the last couple of games have settled the debate about if he should play wide or through the middle.

I know a lot of Stoke fans don't like arrogance (all the Arnie debates) but I wish our South Korean king showed a bit more of it because I think he's too humble if anything.

He’s class. Just needs games as he’s not had a proper pre season. Thought he did well second half.

I think he is great to watch and makes space for himself
BUT when he gets near the penalty area, he thinks way too much about making the perfect pass or beating another man.
He completely overthinks it at the moment. He just needs to put a ball in or take a shot or something random.
I think he really has a problem in his own head.
Koumas just does stuff without thinking and is better for it. Play off instinct

He needs to work on the final ball and decision making as I see it. If he can improve this part of the game he would be immense!
