Coming back from a knock, got into good positions today but his touch and distribution weren’t up to his usual standards.
We’ll see the best of him after the international break….

I can't understand why we persisted after half time with Gooch on the left and Junho as a 10. He obviously didn't understand the role as I noticed a few times when other players were telling him where to go. Although I wasn't really that impressed with Moran I thought putting Junho out on the wing where he had so much success last season and trying Moran in the Cundle role would have been worth a try.

Junho is never as effective when he goes centrally. To play a system when him and Manhoef were more narrow yesterday was ridiculous, totally hampering your 2 most attacking threats!

How do you play Bae left if we get a bona fide centre forward? As that’s Koumas position? Is Bae a 10?

I've said somewhere else, after yesterday we don't spend big on a striker but we try to bring in one who would cost a lot less than Cannon. There is no guarantee Cannon would fit and he would mean moving Kounas wide or deeper. We spend the money instead on Cundle and a right back. |

If we don't bring in a striker,we will have to go with him on the left,Manhouf on the right & Koumas up top.

We have a better version of that already. you might think he’s an 8 but Bae himself as said he prefers play on the left And Zidane wanted to be a left back; it's the job of a good coach to deploy assets where they can have the best impact, not play players where they want to be. If Junho is an inside forward, so am I. Do we see him beating a man? Dropping the shoulder? Curling one into the corner as Koumas oh so nearly did twice after just an hour of being a Stoke player? He's tremendously talented, but the pass before the pass before the goal. |

We just don't know how good he'll get and if that bit of luck that they all need will stay with him and push him further ie injuries etc. But for me there is no doubt at all that he has the raw materials.. |

Thats why I don’t think big bids have come yet |
