Eddie supposedly got annoyed at Connelly giving him the run around so just nutted him and walked from the pitch before the ref could send him off lol. Eddie was Sir Stans minder but don’t recall Stan playing in that game. Strangely our next home game vs Sheffield Wednesday also ended 4-4 after we had led 3-1 at half time. Eddie Clamp played for England a few times including 58 World Cup finals. |
