rivalite.dz/football-leris-a-stoke-city-cest-acte/Football: Leris in Stoke City, it's done After having lived through a difficult season in Serie A last year, the right-back defender of the national team Mehdi Leris has just changed air. The former Juventus player will play next season in England. Mehdi is expected this afternoon in England to pass the medical examination before signing a new contract with Stoke City, a club playing in the English Championship.

If I'm not mistaken that photo shows him arriving on a PMT bus. Must be the 127 service, Longton to Hanford.

Ex Juventus..... shudder! You're on the wrong thread with your username It's OK, he never actually played for them, they nabbed him from the Brescia academy then let him go back again after a while.

Heard anything else on Junior mate, or is that dead in the water now? Not needed if we sign Leris! Yes it is. Hoever is only a loan. Leris can play multiple positions. At the very least it means we already have right back covered for next season and have plenty of options this season

He used to play for Juventus you know. No doubt he’s seen all the plaques and images of Pericard at Juve and was inspired to follow in his footsteps

Ten games or so, would expect more by then Sorry I didn’t see your reply above to another poster. So you wait nearly a quarter of the season starting him as the main striker? Surely Chiquinho is expecting starts as a loanee. Campbell will be back before then and Vidigal is performing at a higher level. Then there is the prospect of us splashing the cash on a consistent goalscorer. A year is standard at Man City, maybe Pep knows something about management? Salah didn’t fire until his second stint in England. The idea our third game is a big decision point is ludicrous. He is a long-term signing and a well-run club will manage him accordingly. Stay calm. The season doesn’t really start until after the September International Break, plenty of time

Leris hasn’t really played full back though has he so not sure why Junior wouldn’t still be coming.

I like it that he is Algerian, they are a feisty lot, just what we need! Born in France. So he's a striker then
