Hoping he’s more than that It does depend on “the job though”. If we are close to our first 11, we are going to need players who can be more versatile as well. The only way to keep new signings happy is to give them a good amount of game time. Of course, I still believe that we need a starting wide player to replace Brown and a central midfielder. For those, I wouldn’t like to prioritize “utility”. |

I am struggling a bit with this one - maybe it'll become clearer what the plan is when they talk about how they see his role.
But if we're viewing it positively come May, the cap will certainly be tipped towards Jared and Al - because it's not exactly an obvious one

It’s all about the balance and sounds like he would be a good addition to the squad. We were crying out for someone like him against Ipswich.
With the amount of games he has played in Serie A and an apparent high work rate and strong defensively, he potentially sounds oven ready to come straight in.
There will be games at home where we can go full attacking with the likes of Chiquino or Mmaee in front of Hoever. But there are definitely going to be others where we need a more defensive option there.
Looks like a sensible option at a good price.

The comments from Sampdoria fans are pretty consistently negative - but they have got a lot to be negative about. He seemed to do okay at Brescia. Nearly 100 Serie A games and a hard worker, so can't be a disaster for less than a mill. Just interested in where we see him featuring sampdoria.forumfree.it/?t=79739183&st=120Actually, I thought I'd give the million to take A lot of sweat and a lot of effort but a not small piece of relegation has also passed from his feet, he ate the impossible last year. I hope the suitcase is packed and the one-way ticket ... go! |
