www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/stoke-west-brom-live-stream-8663224How good can Sol Sidibe be?Neil: That's always hard to say because it’s providing they keep learning, keep progressing and they keep humble and keep up the hard work because the hard work is where it starts. If you can keep working as hard as possible all the time, his talent and his temperament is excellent. Technically he's more than good enough. You see the ball he played to Chiquinho, the wee reverse down the side. He sees the passes, he can take the ball in tight spaces. Physically he can compete. I mean, 16 years of age. Sixteen. I don't even know what I was doing at 16 but I certainly wasn't playing at this level the way he is. Physically he's a specimen, he can deal with that, no problem. His temperament, he can deal with it as well. He got a booking and I didn't even worry about taking him off because I knew he’d be fine. When I went to speak to him at half time to say he just needed to make sure he says, ‘Yeah, I’ll be fine.’ I can't speak highly enough of him. I think everybody knows me well enough in the fact that I wouldn't put him in as a gimmick and I wouldn't put him in because he's just a young player. I don't put him in if I felt he wasn’t good enough. I thought tonight he showed everybody what I've seen for the last six weeks.

He's too good for the U17s.

If he’s getting regular football by this point and we’re at the right end of the table I honestly think he stays here of his own volition.

Why on earth would we stop him going? It would be massive for him.

It's a balance, isn't it? Each case is different. It seems to happen pretty routinely at these age-group tournaments with players that are in with a sniff of the first-team. Would think in his case, we'd consider it in his interests to go

How long before Man City offer us big bucks, I'll give it until next summer unfortunately They can give us BIG bucks, then ultimately loan him straight back to us!!!

Quite a few midfielders are getting Championship action in this England age group - Gray at Leeds and Rigg at Sunderland have featured already this season

Really happy to see Sidibe doing so well, hopefully we can get Tezgal playing well too once he’s fit and we’ll have a couple of cracking youngsters in the first team squad

Got a feeling Edwards is taking a sneaky look at Wilmot.

Got a feeling Edwards is taking a sneaky look at Wilmot. Probably 1 from 4. Wilmot, Laurent, Brown or Campbell But them again it could have been a WBA player Edit- actually wouldn't be surprised if it was a baggie such as Swift who I think could play in the Premier league

The through ball he did 😍 Glad you got a ticket now? Very! Another decent performance and against a big side too. And also a side that when I saw their midfield written down it’s way better than ours but after the first 10 minutes thought we took control of it.

I thought that was the worst WBA side I've seen for ages. Apart from the last 20 mins when we dropped off. I really think they are going to struggle. They were big but their patterns of play were quite robotic. In contrast I thought we were much more fluid despite carrying 3 or 4 that aren't really good enough to start. Sol by contrast was more than good enough. We just need to get enough minutes into him somehow.

Just seeing Chalobah, Swift and Mowatt written down and I’d have all of them over any of ours 🤣 But we dominated them with Jordan Thompson (who tbf was my MOM), Laurent and a 16 year old. Ace!
