Opinions eh, I think Thompson is a very limited player. Simply not good enough for the championship He is limited mate, but I like how he can spot a pass and is tidy in possession, he’s not a horrible footballer to watch if you get me…is he good enough for our first 11 if we want to progress? Absolutely not. |

He’s got talent. Has to be a better option than Thompson. I am 70 odd but would be a better option than Thompson. A traffic cone is better option than Thompson |

Absolutely not. Thompson will also only start a handful of games next season as well. The reality is, we now have Pearson on a few years deal. Most will understand that he is an AN signing and someone AN will prioritize. I can’t see many DMs coming to Stoke in the hope of getting good minutes, certainly not ones that are going to be markedly better than Thompson while also costing the same. |
