Sangita out Feltz in. This is why she lost her job: Another journalist cancelled for challenging an Israeli official: I can see why some say Muslims and Christians rule the world now. I'd mention other religions but wouldn't like to be called racist. So I've left out the religions you're not allowed to say it about.

The pressure is being applied to civil servants, not MPs though. That’s why I said they should protest outside Parliament. My wife is my source. The fact is, she has come home and the app civil servants have which informs them of safety risks is reporting lots of problems and her colleagues have shared similar stories of what happened to my wife this morning. What is happening in Palestine is not an excuse to verbally abuse innocent people in England who are nothing to do with Israel or Palestine. My wife should not be verbally abused for being a civil servant and turning up to work. She shouldn’t be made to fell unsafe. She doesn’t have the power to influence our government in weapons sales to Israel. She is not the cause of the war. She didn’t fire rockets, kidnapp people, murder people, bomb people and neither has she ever voted for the party who are selling weapons to Israel. Israelis are also victims in this and it is a disgrace you don’t see that. There are far fewer victims in Israel than in Palestine, but that doesn’t mean the innocent people who have been murdered by Hamas deserve it. Or are you saying the 7October attack victims deserved to die/be raped? No more so than the 10s of thousands in Palestine since murdered by Israelis. Adopting your attitude of Israel = bad, Palestine = good means you are fully supportive of every rape and murder committed by Hamas on Israelis. Of course pressure is being applied to MPs. It's been mentioned every day for months with many protests outside Westminster and across the country. There are 100s of videos of MPs being challenged in public. Well if your wife works in the department of business and trade there are many videos all over the internet of the protests. I've not seen anyone being attacked or abused and I know there are many zionists desperate for that type of footage so I'm sure it will be unearthed at some stage today. Are you sure she didn't come across Gideon Falter in a disguise? I did see Israelis were victims Oggy on October 7th and expressed my sympathy. Many Americans were also victims on September 11th. But being a victim for one day doesn't make you a victim every day of the calendar year for the rest of your life. We don't talk about the palestines that died on November 1st, December 3rd, January 7th, February 19th, March 23rd every day of the year. Israelis had more deaths than palestines for a single day for the first time in a number of years so lets talk about that one date for eternity now and use it as a justification for them to murder whoever they like. Nah, I'm bored of it now. No worries Oggy I support every rape and murder committed by Hamas on Israelis because I don't mention the one day of the decade more Israelis died every time we touch on the subject. And you support every rape and murder committed by Israel for the last century because you've no interest in this subject unless it's to defend Israels actions. I have said both are victims. You are the one who has been critical of me for pointing out that some Israelis are also victims. But you have above acknowledged that what I said about Israelis being victims too to be true. Regardless, my wife should not be verbally abused for attending work. She is not at fault. It is the Treasury in charge of sanctions on other countries. If the protestors had brains they would pressure MPs at Parliament, or the Treasury, not civil servants outside DBT. How to reduce support for your cause in the general public is to protest by being threatening and abusive towards innocent people.

I'd mention other religions but wouldn't like to be called racist. So I've left out the religions you're not allowed to say it about. The fact that award winning journalists have been taken off air in our country, at the behest of foreign politicians, should frighten the living daylights out of every single one of us. How on earth can Israel be allowed to wield such power over our domestic media? The fact that our journalists can be cancelled so easily and without explanation, is utterly chilling.

That's nothing. Have you not heard about bananas in the liberated zone? I despair. The world has gone mad ! I agree, like the Tweeter said if the Settlers stopped waving Machine Guns in the West Bank the Students on US Campuses might stop waving Banana's

I did suggest a couple of times previously that for many people the Middle Eastern issue will boil down to the lowest common denominator....Jews/Arabs, the West/ Muslims, Jews/ Muslims or similar NOT the more accurate analysis distinguishing Hamas/Palestinians, Zionism/ Judaism....and this is what I believe may be happening. Whilst it is true that some Jews are taking part in the anti Israel protests, some Jews have disowned them as misguided, and many Jews do feel threatened , are in fear, even though they may be anti- Zionist

Like 99% of the marches calling for a cease fire up and down the country the student protests have been completely peaceful. But give it time before the agitators get involved and the police go wading in, it will happen at some point I have no doubt.....

Like always with these quotes I find it quite telling if you swap "Gaza/Palestine/Islam/Muslims" for "Israel/Judeism/Jews" and ask yourself "what would the reaction be?" It would not be tolerated in any way shape or form......

At the same time, when are protests that aren’t met with counterprotests successful? That friction gives them publicity and momentum. Conflict is news. For example, there is a similar protest at UVA at present. Students were told that they could do it but that they couldn’t live there as an encampment (no tents). They agreed. No drama. No drama = no news = what is the point?

Al Jazeera is probably one of the better, more in depth news agencies in the world. It’s opinion pieces can sometimes be a bit much but the analysts that appear are usually incredibly knowledgeable.

Isn't Al Jazeera banned (or has been banned) by several Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the UAE?
Why was that?

Isn't Al Jazeera banned (or has been banned) by several Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the UAE? Why was that? Because it reports negatively on them, unlike the rest of the news outlets which generally just don’t care about them enough to report at all.

Close the news outlet that holds you to account and drop leaflets, what do you suppose will be next? Rajah and ergo the whole strip will be flattened, maybe?

It's coverage of the Ukraine conflict has been head and shoulders above any "mainstream" outlet. And it's coverage of the Gaza conflict has been very good too, Al Jazeera have or have access to more journalists actually on the ground than anyone else.......

Hamas accept the ceasefire proposals but Israel continue bombing ... Joe Biden has apparently made his position on a Rafah ‘offensive’ clear. Presumably, that position is we don’t agree with it but whatever you do, we’ll ultimately declare our support is ‘ironclad’. Piss weak cunt.

Where are we at.
Hamas has accepted a ceasfire proposal from Egypt and Quatar but for peace to break out Israel will have to accept it too.
But presumably it does not involve disbanding Hamas or Hamas would not have accepted it.
And Israel's red line is Hamas must cease to exist.
So Israel will pour cold water on it.
Won't they?

That bloke with the enormous ears from the IDF speaking LIVE now on Rafah operations.
The message to the locals seems to be 'get out of here' or you will be vapourised, so no cease fire yet it would seem.

This is the endgame for Netanyahu. Carry on with the genoside to save his skin or agree to a ceasfire without the end of Hamas and look weak. It seems like the USA has the stronger hand than he expected .
