Rather drab affair, Stoke had more possession but created very little, in fact Leek had the best couple of chances. DWP best player on show.

He always seemed ok for the 21s but never outstanding.
But his loan with Newport seemed to go well and never really got any attention in Stoke world.
It’s the next league up so makes total sense for everyone involved.

Great interview and he obviously loves the club & the set-up. Had a fair few minutes in pre-season games too which can only help his development. |

Not watched the video yet but can only imagine a well grounded kid, whos driven to do their best. I'm sure his dad will be very proud.
With Mama he was a lot more gifted than people gave him credit for, with earlier coaching he probably would have reached the top clubs.
Here's hoping Sol is just as talented, level headed and driven.
