Is laughing at a mistake such a crime? I do it all the time and if you’re someone who is a pro footballer the mistakes must be even funnier. It just shows you’ve never played football, or any team sport at a reasonable level, you’d be so popular with your team mates and manager… 😳 I’ve played plenty of sport thanks. If people can’t laugh at themselves and others then they’re cocks.

Does it? I think it just shows football fans are a bit overly sensitive tbh. He was sitting next to Jagielka who actually behaved properly and was interested in how the game was going. In between laughing and taking the piss he was on his phone. To me, if you are a professional you don’t behave in that manner when you are being paid to be there and acting in an official capacity (wearing club clothing etc). Even worse, he was sitting among the fans as he hadn’t been picked in the match day squad - so either he’s an idiot or just didn’t care. In Clucas case, probably both Being on the phone was better than watching that shite last season. He seems a sensible chap. He doesn’t have to be there if he isn’t playing.

I posted on here at the time that he signed for us, that I'd got a close friend who is a Swansea season ticket holder and when I asked him what he thought about us signing him, his response was, that you'll end up hating him eventually and that most Swansea fans couldn't stand the bloke and his poor attitude.

It's worth noting that along with Preston and Ipswich, Rotherham are out performing this year . They are 20 th , 4 places and just two points behind Leeds and Stoke , both clubs with massive budgets compared to Rotherham and ahead of Middlesbrough.
Rotherham would take 20 th all day long.
Boro , Stoke and Leeds are underperforming relative to their financial backing.
Rotherham are fully punching their tiny financial weight.
Perhaps, they know what they are doing?

'Intelligence', 'set-piece quality' and 'control' PMSL who do they think he is Salah More like 'lazy, inactive' apathetic' Gouranga. I really disliked watching Clucas play. However, he was also on a huge salary and transferred for a huge fee. If their expectation is for him to rotate in the squad and he isn’t costing a lot, they’ll probably be fairly happy with him. That is, assuming he stays fit. Glad we’ll only see him score against us in one game this year.

He's very lucky to get a deal in this division. I'll be interested to see what transpires.

He was the next best thing, which our backward thinking board were to daft to approach....can remember saying at the time give him a year, a transfer window and a preseason and see where he is.. Maybe our board did know what they were doing and didn't jump for the latest media darling...

I know we only signed him at the arse end of his career, but it’s staggering that he got a move for £16.5m at his peak. That makes Imbula look good value!

I know we only signed him at the arse end of his career, but it’s staggering that he got a move for £16.5m at his peak. That makes Imbula look good value! We signed him in what should have been the peak of his career. He was 27. He also played more games for us and scored more goals for us than any of his other clubs. Which didn't amount to much. Either he was wank or we ruined him, which to be fair we have done to plenty of players in the last 5 years. He had one good season in my opinion, some of the goals he scored were top class. But it was a miserable account he gave of himself overall in what should have been the golden spell of his career.
