And of course in those shops they check ID presumably? No illegal dealer does that, if you have the money you can have the weed, why would they care how old you are? And of course the weed sold in the shops has presumably been through some sort of quality control? No illegal weed has been through that, whatever they sell could be adulterated with fuck knows what. And of course in the shops they'll be able to advise customers about different strains and their various effects. With an illegal dealer it's pretty much take it or leave it and there's certainly no comebacks if you're not happy, legally anyway. Still, it keeps the Daily Mail readers happy keeping it illegal in the UK, they've no idea why it should be illegal, it just should 🤷 In Washington State, cannabis is under the control of the same governmental agency that handles alcohol. Shops do check to make sure you're 21......I'm 76, so I don't get asked. BTW, the cannabis buds (Flower) are getting close to 30% THC and there are an amazing variety of concentrates. In this state, cannabis flows through three sets of hands.......farms/growers......processors......and retail shops where it is sold. You can only be involved in one of those steps......you grow, you cannot sell. Organic is available. Most of it is sold in glass jars of different sizes and have labels attached. That identifies strength, grower origin and the shop where it can be sold. They are intended for sale only in the state where they are grown and processed. Of course, dealers can buy in a state like Washington and then illegally sell across the border in a more repressive state like Idaho. You can travel from Canada to Mexico on the West Coast and buy excellent weed at a good price in a clean safe environment. My local store has vendor days on Saturday with 40% off regular prices......with an ounce of top quality going for $125......you can buy trim/shake for $20-25 for a half ounce and bake it into an edible. In this state, it's all cool. The way it should be. Personally, now I can buy it legally through my prescription I would hope I'm getting decent quality (although I have seen some patients complaining of moldy bud which is actually harmful on the lungs) but I still have no choice of strain, the clinic decide what I'm sent and the DPD man brings it to my door. For others tho, if they drive and get stopped and 'swiped' their license is gone, the THC limit is so low any regular cannabis user is constantly over the limit without being in the least impaired. The reason being, as I'm sure you're aware, is that cannabis stays in the body for so long and I think it's by 'design' not coincidence that the body is in no rush to get rid of it like it does alcohol and other drugs ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif) We're moving in the right direction albeit (very) slowly in the UK, once we've got rid of the current home secretary and her crazy ideas we might be able to have a sensible conversation about it too. Additionally GW Pharma (certain members of the government and their spouses own 'licensed' 'grow project') sold for billions not long ago to Jazz Pharmaceuticals so you'd think they'll no longer have 'skin in the game'. But they probably do ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

You make an interesting point in saying that cannabis stays in the body "by design"......keeping it in the body longer and the body making use of it. We'll all know if they stop suppressing it and start studying it.
Once they legalize recreational use in the UK, you will be amazed at the number of cannabis products and choice that will show up in the shops selling them. Buds/Flower that you roll up and smoke is just a portion of sales. The UK should get onboard with legalizing and taxing it. Even though it is taxed, competition has resulted in prices coming way down since legalization. A friend of mine in the UK doesn't use cannabis but his adult sons do, and he says it is readily available from half a dozen dealers within a 5 minute walk from his house. Keeping it illegal with this immense potential market for the product is a situation where the government is stubbornly refusing to grab this source of revenue.

It's certainly readily available where we live as well and has been wherever in the UK I've lived. There's various reasons it's not yet legal, obviously Theresa May and Victoria Atkins didn't want any competition for their respective spouse's venture for a start. Various pharmaceutical and alcohol companies will be very aware of the threat to their bottom line and will be talking to politicians accordingly. It's also a method of social control that the government will be reluctant to relinquish. I was in Thailand last year, loads of places selling a variety of strains, pre rolls, edibles etc and anywhere tobacco smoking is allowed (which is most places) weed smoking is allowed too, no drama, no issues and a lot of places also sell beer, coffee etc and have lounges where you can chat to others. It's bloody wonderful 😊

All of them criminals under current law.

Watched this last night on Amazon. Based on an all too familiar true story of an organisation desperate to preserve their funding. Two groups of women, one lot on cannabis one lot not over a 98 day period, when the results didn't prove what the funding organisation pre-conceived they would the funding was withdrawn and the results disappeared🤦

Seen some article the other day on BBC talking about cancer and how they believe pollution and inflammation to be the cause of alot of cancers.
Good for those who use cannabis given its anti inflammatory properties. Of course not saying cannabis prevents cancer as it probably contributes to some cancers too. But there is evidence which shows how RSO can help alot of cancers.

This is also available on Amazon.
These two blokes are absolute legends and yet they're having to risk their liberty to save people's lives.
To be fair progress has apparently been made in Australia in certain areas, they may no longer be in the same position, then again they might be locked up.

I'm sure I've heard of cultures where there are no incidences of cancer, since listening to the podcast I've been wondering if they use sugar in these cultures. Hasn't stopped me eating chocolate tho ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/4tzqvp1fxEemag_TAXLJ.gif)

So some cancers are fueled from glucose and sugar and keto diets and stuff can see a big improvement. But I think there are some obviously caused by other stuff and not fuelled by sugar. Possibly melanoma? Good article about keto and cancer here -https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6375425/

I'd heard of the Atkins diet before, if I remember right as far as weight loss went it worked for around half the population of the UK. I have a lot of belief in the blood type diet, around 45% of the UK are blood type O which according to the Doctor's that did the research should eat a more meat based diet. I wonder if there's a correlation. I'd love to see a monitored study that looked at people's blood types and health outcomes while they eat (or don't) the foodstuffs recommended for their particular blood type.

Very enjoyable presentation, it'll be on YouTube in a couple of weeks, well worth a watch imo. Apparently the two most common treatments by far are for chronic pain and mental health. Depression often accompanies chronic pain in varying degrees, cannabis based medicines are proving to be more effective for both and have less side effects than most pharmaceutical prescriptions according to the data gathered so far from patients on the Project Twenty21 program. Many chronic pain patients have been able to reduce or totally eliminate their use of opioids thanks to their cannabis prescription.

The only thing I'll say about project 21 is that alot of people in the 420 community are more aware of Project 21. So alot of those signed up for consultations and got accepted were already consumers, are this are more likely to report positive outcomes in the studies. I say this as someone who is very pro cannabis and stoned right now haha

There is probably some degree of placebo effect and confirmation bias involved tho.

If anyone is willing to sign the below petition, myself and many others would be very grateful. It could improve the lives of people that can't afford a cannabis prescription immeasurably, it really could. Cheers 🙂 petition.parliament.uk/signatures/134014350/signed

There's been quite a surge in signups over the last month and, to my surprise and delight we're over the line! Thanks so much to those who took the trouble to sign 🙏 Obviously more signatures are welcome and appreciated, the bigger message we can send the better. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/635748I don't doubt it will get summarily dismissed, there's no money in it, however it will raise awareness, if any MP's actually turn up for their day jobs that is. Thanks again 👍

When my mother died of cancer last year 😥, and she have had it before as well, I started to have a look into my relatives on her side. I was surprised most of them had died at the age of 28-36 years. Why was that? I found a factor and it was obvious. Cancer. On my mother's side they have had every form you can think of! My uncle had parotid gland cancer, my other uncle prostate cancer, my aunt leukemia, there have been lung cancer, bone cancer, brain cancer. All sorts. The most common and strongest cause to this shit is heredity. The other one is stress. The third one is the processed food and environmental chemicals. When it comes to sugar: perhaps there is a connection, but I wouldn't say they know yet and if so how high is the risk and are there other varying factors affecting the process? But what they DO know for certain is that when you already have GOT cancer, the cancer cells live by something and sugar is one thing. And if anti oxidants are good for you when you're healthy, they are definitely bad for you if you already have got cancer, they will make the cancer grow faster. Or maybe it's the sugar content, since you'll find the anti oxidants in different juices.

There are so many different types of cancer so I'm pretty sure there are not one solution to them all. I wish they did put all the money spent on war on medical research.

Many people don't have enough knowledge about what their pets should eat, so of course they will be sick. Cats for instance must have a diet based on protein and fat to get the energy (they don't have the human's problem with cholesterol), and avoid for instance sugar, chocolate, many veggies and fruit plus lactose.

Indeed, I'm no scientist but it's probably not unreasonable to assume that the fumes are heavier than air so down at Yorkshire terrier level it must be thick with them.

Staffordshire Moorlands and Stoke North doing extremely well, Central and South pretty good too. Scotland seem keen 🙂 petitionmap.unboxedconsulting.com/?petition=635748
