Sterling a Fosu are the only ones worthy of any credit so far.

Very poor.
Fosu is ok but flatters to deceive a bit.

A club with the resources of SCFC should be using 2 loan players max. Our recruitment has been chaotic for a very long time.

Sterling when fit has been excellent. Fingers crossed we can get him in permanently.

Send them all back. Hopefully Man City will recall Delap.

I’d like to see Kilkenny get some games, looked decent when I’ve watched him.
Smallbone after a decent start turned to crap Delap, expectations far too high Sterling, decent Clarke, he’s absolutely terrible Kilkenny, not seen enough Fosu, glimpses of talent but not enough

Send them all back. Hopefully Man City will recall Delap. For someone Guardiola supposedly has high hopes for, he has the first touch of a baby elephant.

The principle of relying on players whose future is not at the club is fundamentally problematic. You might get away with it - you probably won’t.

I don’t recall it being an issue in 2008… Teams in the promotion mix don’t seem to stress about it. Loan players are often players with a point to prove to someone. They’re not a bad thing in and of themselves.

Also very disappointed with his heading ability, it’s very poor for me. Frustratingly he keeps trying to run through players and get involved in bother

Should be the icing on the cake as far as I’m concerned - a bit of flare or quality that might make a difference between you and other Championship teams.

What does Fosu do , except lose the ball and cant cross the ball He's the only real pace we've got bar Campbell, he helps gets us up the pitch and the oppo on the back foot, his final ball is very hit and miss but I think he's worth his place unless you move Tymon further forward.

I can’t think of a more gutless inept wanker than Smallbone that I’ve ever had the misfortune of watching.

Interesting, that when we loan players out it is with a view to them getting games regularly and improving. Also we hope that the likes of Joey Barton will help them to improve. Why would the situation be any different for the clubs loaning us players. Another thing I don't get is that our players are uninterested or unmotivated, according to some on here. I'm pretty sure AN has told them that their contracts are up in June and they are playing for their livelyhood.

To me loaned players are just journeymen on a stepping stone in their career path.
They have no commitment to the club, are not going to put themselves out for other players, and not going to push themselves to the limit.
We should only loan a player to fill a gap in the squad.
I have similar views about signing older players who are just working out the end of their career.
The club spends a fortune on the academy, I dread to think what it all costs, and gets very little payback. How many players have we actually developed from youth level to first team regular in the last couple of decades?

I should have said "allegedly". Personally I don't think they are either. It's a bit frightening to see Birmingham, Rotherham and Bristol City above us in the table.

Smallbone was absolutely awful today, but i do have a feeling in a couple of years he may turn into a decent player. Unfortunately not with us.

I've got Fosu in my head but I'm usually wrong.
