Says a lot about his professionalism if there was a choice between fish 'n' chips and a healthier alternative if he chose fish and chips.... Says a lot about your qualities as a human if you can't even read that he says nothing of what you claim he did.

Remarkable deflection tactics from his own lack of ability
Clearly affected him being able to jump and head a football

I always thought it was done to get one over on Pulis as WBA wanted him too. We didn't need another centre half either way, it was madness. Hughes really should have been long gone by that point. Scholes drove the fee On the other hand I can remember a fair few on here complaining when we were linked with VVD from that Scottish pub team and Soton were totally ripped off

Was a huge mistake and all clubs sign duds.
Won't get too would up by what he says to be honest. Bottom line is , was the player himself who wasn't good enough

18 million bastard quid! His problem wasn't his diet it was that he was no good at football. This one is on us. What on earth were we thinking? Step forward Mr Mark Leslie Hughes.

We are still digging out of the rubbish where one of the major chunks of debris was this $18 Million rimmer. Step forward Mark Leslie Hughes indeed. What a damaging period of time for us. Lambert had to be wondering, "Who's THIS fat f*ck and what am I supposed to do with him?" (Not that he was THAT fat, but it's something to hammer him with and it fits my agenda) Then we just had to pile on during the Rowett era...sorry, too soon I know.(It'll always be too soon to talk about that loon) But to follow that with Nathan Jones - brilliantly catastrophic. (He says with benefit of hindsight)
Come on AN! Let's get this corner turned! That wheelie bin in the corner stinks to high-heaven! (God Willing - OK I'll stop now)
Blaming the tea lady because you suck at football - nice one Kevin.

He was last spotted on top of the wing mirror of a Greggs articulated truck carrying beef slices and other healthy snacks in the direction of Vale Park.

Will admit that I did when he first came here, thought we were getting a hell of a young player. We got him around the same time we got Zouma and Tymon wasn't it? But something went south at the club that was way worse than an "unprofessional" lunchroom. I think Kevin picked the wrong bitch to hang his argument on is all. Yes, there were issues and at 18 million, he was a big part of them.

Just have to look at where his career has gone since to recognize that he had no personal drive at that stage, or later.

Step forward Mr Mark Leslie Hughes. Spot on mate and whatever anybody else says the 3 big transfers set us back years Mark Hughes with money to spend isn't a good mix. He proved that at QPR, yet our owners thought it was a good idea to let him loose with a multi million pound budget. The daft fuckers.

sportwitness.co.uk/player-admits-major-difference-stoke-tottenham-left-shocked-transfer-didnt-work/He has the cheek to criticize the diet at Stoke. Considering he always looked unfit and overweight Im surprised he has the nerve to come out with this. "The transfer fee was of course a big deal. On the one hand I was incredibly proud, but on the other hand I couldn’t really grasp or even realise that figure,” he told them.
“At that point I was really keen to attack with Stoke, wanted to tackle, make a difference.
“If I’m honest, I was shocked: at Tottenham, every nuance was taken care of, both in training and off the pitch. The best example is the diet: every intolerance was taken care of. There was a gluten-free offer, there was a vegan offer.
“At Stoke you could even order fish and chips for lunch. While at Tottenham you had to beg for a day off, at Stoke, Wednesdays were generally free.
“So, I thought, I don’t know if this can work. So I hired a personal trainer to make good use of the day off.” Sounds like one of those little boys whose mummy did everything for him .......the fat git!

He'd earned another go with a budget after what he'd achieved with limited funds. By the time we signed Wimmer though it shouldn't have been his decision to make, he should've been gone anytime from that 4-1 dicking at Palace onwards really.

He did say at the time , he turned up at QPR to find 3 players he didn't sign, including Anton Ferdinand. Seemed the Air Asia chap, Fernandes was it, was pulling too many string there ?

Wimmer is a strange one. When he signed he came with almost universal good reviews from Spurs fans who said he was a good player who should do well for us. Some even thought that it was a poor decision to sell him and they should have kept him. I can't remember any warnings about laziness or poor attitude or anything else that would send up the red flags. Then as soon as he started playing it was obvious that he was shit and in poor shape and he quickly became one of the worst signings in our history. It's highly unusual to get such a disparity between the opinions of the fans of a player's previous club and then what happens once he signs.

As for the menu, is he sure they weren't trying to offer him the glutton free option. Fat useless bastard!
