Thought I'd put this here to comply with the new filing system, hope I've got it right ๐ค๐
Went to Product Earth 2024 in the Drum Sheds, Edmonton yesterday, first time it's been held in the capital after 9 years in Warwickshire.
It's basically a celebration of 'alternative health' culture with medical cannabis companies, grow companies, vape companies, seed companies and stalls selling CBD (probably..) edibles, mushroom stuff, clothing etc.
The searches getting in were ridiculously thorough, different queues (all long!) for those with a medical prescription made me think that there'd only be cannabis use in the 'medication area'.
Once I got to the outside area where the catering trailers, picnic benches and stage were I realised that wasn't the case, literally everyone was smoking or vaping ๐
Some really good speakers on, discussing the future cannabis landscape in the UK, medical effects, how it could help the older generations and loads more.
However, I got an email this morning telling me that day 2 has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
I'll update as to the why if and when I find more out, quite mysterious ๐ค

Have to say I noticed no 'haziness' and saw nobody inside openly smoking weed, outside a complete free for all but I doubt anyone there had a problem with it anyway except seemingly the security guards ๐คก So that was a short and not too sweet relationship ๐

Few protests in London tomorrow I believe. Hopefully no trouble. Worried it will spill over though and turn into violence.

Tommy Robinson wants the Country back Unions and other anti Tommy, anti Racism and ant Islamophobia You then have the Annual Trafalgar Square protest at deaths in Police Custody. It's not clear if those protesting Peter Lynch and Chris Kaba will unite or fight. I expect the Police are hoping for rain

Few protests in London tomorrow I believe. Hopefully no trouble. Worried it will spill over though and turn into violence. What are they protesting about this week? This weekend, London is set to see significant protests. Supporters of all round bad egg and general racist thug Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) are planning a march from Victoria Station to Whitehall. A counter-protest organised by Stand Up To Racism will march from Regent Street and St Jamesโs to Whitehall. Additionally, the United Friends and Families Campaign will hold a separate protest in Trafalgar with relatives of the former gang member and criminal parasite Chris Kaba. It's going to be a busy day in central London!

I'm down there next week with work, got an evening do near to the tower of London so will be nipping into the Cheshire Cheese near Fenchurch Street, which is not to be confused with Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese near to Fleet Street, I suppose I could do a Cheshire Cheese double.

North Star isnโt bad, north of the Broadway The Wheatsheaf and The Haven Arms are good Fullers boozers. 2 miles west in Hanwell we have some really good pubs and a micro-pub (The Dodo) which is always winning CAMRA awards
