Pleased with the performance, pissed off with the ref, happy to be out of the competition. Well I'm not. It's the only bastard thing we have ever won! Doesn’t even seem arsed that we’ve just drawn 0-0 and lost on penalties to one of the worst sides in league 1! Yep, looks completely unfazed. Perhaps he knows it is the FA Cup exit against unfancied opposition in January which finishes most of our managers.

He's certainly got the art of deflection off to a tee hasn't he. Saying we were outmuscled and we let them press us too high, like its the most natural thing in the world to let a bottom end League 1 side to do. As for taking the positives from being booted out, I'll take a large bet that he'll turn that round in the next few weeks, complaining we haven't been able to get enough miles into squad players legs.

Have we got the worst "supporters" in the leagues. Totally fed up with the constant whining! We put out an almost reserve side tonight! Yes it hurts when I see us lose but we didn't look like losing in the ninety minutes. No hope of winning this trophy! Get focused on supporting our side in the league and stop looking for every opportunity to slate players and manager. Almost reserve side apart from Bonham, Taylor, Jagielka, Fox, Thompson, Clucas, Baker, Brown and Campbell. They’re all first team players. Then we subbed on Smallbone, Gayle, Laurent and Clarke. But other than them yeah a reserve side.

I am not convinced MON should stay but your arguments lack any logic. When we lose at Millwall and again tonight it's all down to the manager, we beat Blackpool and it was all down to the players! He’s a shit manager the players turn up now and again. Sometimes they can’t be arsed sometimes they can like Blackpool. Winning games is nothing to do with the manager That makes even less sense! There is an argument to be made against keeping MON but you obviously are not capable of making it.

Fox hands started a game yet - he’s a reserve Thompson is backup to Baker, Laurent and Smallbone - he’s a reserve. Clucas started the first game but i reckon that was because Smallbone had just joined a few days prior. He’s sort of in between but don’t think he’s first choice. It was definitely a weaker team than we’d field in a league game but we should have had enough to win it.

If Gayle was on the pitch, why didn't he take a penalty instead of Fox?

Embarrassing performance and also embarrassing manager that team was strong feel sorry for the supporters who travelled must win sat no draw a win who he should go Embarrassing result and poor finishing yes but Embarrassing performance, really? We dominated possession, as we should. We restricted them to 4 shots, none on target, as we should. We had plenty, 21, attempts at goal as we should. The conversion of attempts, only 5 on target and no goals, was poor. Then onto the lottery of penalties. As I have stated elsewhere I am not convinced we should stick with MON but would prefer to base my considerations on facts. You should do similar and also spend some time studying the basics of english grammar.

Perhaps he knows it is the FA Cup exit against unfancied opposition in January which finishes most of our managers. that was in a totally different context when we were a premier league team with realistic expectations of doing well in a cup completion. Cov we’re lg 2 at the time. Morcombe are league 1 and do remarkably well for their tiny stature. You just cannot compare the 2 results.

They kicked the crap out of us to be fair. First half we didn't play between the lines quickly enough or with any real intensity, second half we should have killed the game off it was attack v defence apart from about a 3/4 minute spell caused by if I remember rightly a daft foul from Campbell in our own third. Bonham doesn't help with his hesitance in playing the ball out, that is the big difference when Bursik plays he's super confident to play out from the back......

Otherwise we’d only have 11 first team players.

I think what this game showed most is how poor the squad building has been, playing two midfielders as your backup wingbacks is pretty shocking given how long he's been here trying to play this system, and to describe Thompson as slightly out of position is a bit embarrassing really, he must be cringing if he listens back to his interview.

Not much to say really - more shots may have got deflections with crowded penalty area - Fox is shit and should be farmed out and as for that penalty - must have been others higher up the pecking order - is this a season of getting muscled out by the so called weaker sides in the Championship and against 10 men - poor show whichever way you look at it - and worrying. Whatver happened to a bit a Rhythm in the early stages of a season and feeding the odd fringe player in to play with the first 11/13 players - instead we lose all momentum by changing so many players and positions he works against us

For some reason people are forgetting Gayles ‘offside goal’ which wasn’t offside. We won that game if the officials got it right. But no one cares about that on here they just sit and abuse our manager..

No, the manager should go for setting up with 5 at the back, against a league 1 side and not changing it when they were down to 10 men. The manager should go because he has produced some of the worst football we've seen since relegation. Amazing that if we scored 5, the happy clappers would be saying it was because of the manager yet when we fail to score then its nothing to do with him and its all the players fault. (not saying you are a happy clapper by the way 😉)

Surely we would expect players that play say 10 games a season each covering injuries , suspensions or loss of form are better than that.

Fox really is pants, although Bayern rates him (okay Bayern, as a left back I know), but he's scared of the ball or being in possession. His confidence is possibly shattered but as soon as we get a left footed centre back in we need to try and loan him out.

Footy doesn't work like that. Morecambe did well in the Cup against Spurs last season, and results like this always happen. He should have dispensed wit three at the back once they were down a player and Gayle and DWP were never going to make a dent against their defence. That centre forward can't come in too soon.
