These interviews are much better than the ones we’re accustomed to seeing.

Why and how did he end up in Turkey? Should it be something to be concerned about in the long run? We have not exactly got an abundance of "right dna" at the club at present. Just wondering. Happy to give him a chance but hopefully if he does well and goes on to sign he won't go the way of 90% of our other signings (especially after loans).

Won't be long before the Stoke City "turn every player to a bag of wank" kicks in. I'll give it 6 weeks tops. That’s very valid point, I’m glad there is someone with some common sense on this messageboard😉

I think he's a good player but unless we send Smallbone back is it a position we needed to strengthen?
Neil's description of him as a 'dynamic winger' seems a bit odd too, where does he fit in with the inevitable 3-5-2?

Hoping it means he’s going to show something that our previous managers didn’t have, flexibility. The option to switch between a 5 back and 4 with wingers should help us win a few more games. Well, it would if our squad wasn’t wank like but at least the thought is there.

MoN was flexible re formations, regularly switched during games until 2022 when he went the other way and played one formation only even when at times he clearly didn't have the players for it

Well, it would if our squad wasn’t wank like but at least the thought is there. Definitely agree with the idea of that but he doesn't seem to be a natural winger, especially the type that Neil has been talking about in regard to having a wide option getting crosses in. Any kind of wide option is a bonus at the minute but it seems like this guy is more of an inverted winger like Fosu was. His interview suggested he prefers to play centrally.

Maybe advised to go there as it qualified him for a work permit whereas playing for Ipswich didn't. 🤔
