He is different class to anything else we had on the pitch. Couple of lovely passes and touches. Can see him making a big difference for us in the run in. Gayle will play well with him. Really impressed, great touch and vision |

Really like the look of him and provided he doesn’t fall foul of the Stoke curse where good players mysteriously turn shit after signing for us, he will do well.
I hope he changes the team psyche too. How many times did he receive the ball and immediately turn towards their goal, whereas our default is to turn back to our own goal. Maybe his approach will rub off on others.

An encouraging start not in auto pass back mode when receiving the ball seamed quiet at times but I think that’s cus the ball wasn’t getting to him, seamed to also influence others to do same. Yes there was a few spells of berodom but very encouraging

what really impressed me was he seemed to be all over the pitch ready to receive the ball and then neatly passed it on, helped out constantly with the defence midfield and attack providing an outlet and constantly looking to move it on quickly and precisely. Fantastic debut

Would like to see him and Powell in the same team I could really see Celina and Powell as a No 10 'double pivot' behind a striker. But I could see him working just as well with Smallbone, who can do the harder work of running and pressing and allow Celina to be the more creative outlet. |
