Well done the Vale, did the city of Stoke on Trent proud today. Fabulous owners who support their team, the city and the community. Carol was demonstrating her love for the club with her celebrations. I am a Stokie but credit where it's due. There is definitely room for two successful clubs in this city. Jesus fucking wept.

Oh don’t worry I’ve got plenty of it. Just can’t muster any up for another football club or someone who supports them. I hate tories with a passion. I probably hate football fans too or rather the fake hard man behaviour I associate with the more rabid ones. Speed vans, I could set them on fire. It's hard to hate them though especially in 2022 - they look so silly posturing behind piss wet lines of stewards. It's sad more than anything. No I’m pretty sure I’ve always hated them. I can remember donkeys years ago when I’d go to some away games on the train and they’d come around collecting for their fines as if any right minded person would want to associate themselves with them. Needless to say they never got anything from me.

Such a fart-sniffing post lee. We get it mate, you're far too civilised, logical and intelligent for such nonsense...in reality I just don't think you're bright enough to realise that hate is the same as a lot of harmful things. It's fun in moderation. Oh don’t worry I’ve got plenty of it. Just can’t muster any up for another football club or someone who supports them. I hate tories with a passion. I probably hate football fans too or rather the fake hard man behaviour I associate with the more rabid ones. Speed vans, I could set them on fire. So all the hatred in this post yet you don't understand football rivalry? Jeez!

As for the football how deep are the Shahanhahanans pockets? League 1 is a big step up and basically they are fucking useless! I'm not sure but it's possible to be at the right end of that division without relatively mega-investment. I said before that it's imperative we sort our shit out sooner rather than later because vale are on an upward trajectory and I expect them to be battling at the right end of league one in the coming future and I don't think it's unlikely they sneak back into the championship. That possibility became much greater today. They are a happy club with good owners and a highly rated lower league manager on a longterm deal. Yes it could all go wrong but I don't see it anytime soon.

A shock to absolutely nobody the old bat has found her way in front of the camera.

To piss off the millions of glory hunting wankers who associate themselves with them (yes I know Madrid have them too but I don’t work live / work with those ones) And it’s ‘lose’ So you hope for all the genuine Liverpool fans they dont win the CL because you know a few you think are glory hunters. Fair play. I personally would rather them beat Madrid to prove once again that the English sides are the best. A FEW?? Genuine Liverpool fans are outnumbered by glory hunting game destroying cunts by about 1 million to 1! The more they win the more fans they get, the bigger the gap gets between them and us and clubs like us. That’s why I hope they lose tonight and hope they always lose unless they are playing another British club also mainly supported by fickle zero bollox parasites in which case I want them both to lose and the stadium and everyone in it to be towed off to outer space! Gutless fucking toss from Mansfield, they should be ashamed of themselves. So should the people congratulating Vale, fuck me that’s a new low. I'm with you, anyone who thinks this is a good thing needs to give their head a wobble.

I don’t consider being angry and confrontational a quality or anything to boast or be pleased about. I never said I was a nice person. I try to have as minimal effect on other peoples lives as possible.

Get in 3-0 !!! I will admit, some of you Stokies are really witty. You are winning three nil in a playoff final and your'e on a Stoke messageboard you sad fucking wet wipe. Why let him get to you, it's just one day in 365? You're better than personal abuse.

That was tough to swallow. It would have been nice if Mansfield had actually bothered to turn up in the first 30 minutes and had not received a completely needless sending off.
However, fair play to Carol and Kevin Shanahan - they are local people who have put their money where their mouth is. They have invested well and no one can deny that the club appears to be heading in a positive direction (both on and off the pitch). Also, congratulations to Darrell Clarke - he and his family will have been through a lot over the last few months with the bereavement.
From a Stoke City perspective, if I was the Coates family I would be sitting a little more uncomfortably this afternoon.
It was not so long ago that there were two clear divisions separating the two clubs.
Now we are down to one promotion/relegation.
Whilst we are in decline or, at best, stagnating, our neighbours appear to have got their act together and are heading in the opposite direction.
I, for one, certainly have no desire to see a return of The Potteries derby. There was little to enjoy during the last period when the two clubs were on an even keel (as I am sure many others Stoke supporters from my generation will attest to). I think that I am right in saying that we are the smallest city to be home to two professional football clubs - I am not certain that there is enough room for both clubs can be successful simultaneously ...
Vale can enjoy their moment in the sun.
I just hope that it also happens to give our club the shock and kick up the backside that it probably needs.

Fair play and I hope it benefits our city. How? Same way it does any club who achieve promotion. If it needs explaining then go do a little Google search and you’ll find the answer. Jesus wept. Can you not understand how it works?

Couldn’t care less about the Vale or fans, but what a bloke their manager is! Hats off to him, must take some strength to even think straight, let alone be the main man who everyone looks to! I've not heard the full story regarding this, just bits and bobs. Last thing I heard was that his daughter commited suicide after being bullied? Horrible if so Absolutely awful, can’t even think what that must be like, even more admirable that he can focus on getting a football team promoted after that.

Should state though if they win he will be an unbearable bastard of smugness. And if that happens and his brother gets back before the end of the champions league final I will have to leave. I think being smug because you got into the 3rd division says a lot. Is a bit like being smug to your Mercedes owning neighbour that you've bought a tricycle True but it’s simple things to simple minds
