It is absolutely essential that Allen is let go in the summer, we shouldn't be bending the FFP rules to keep a player who has contributed nothing but abject failure since the day he arrived.

Bon Voyage Joe....God willing Hypothetically, if he did stay, he wouldn't be on anywhere near the 40-45 he's rumoured to be on now though, would he? Hard to guess at what wages he'd get now, but given the new reality of the Championship, wouldn't think he'd get much beyond 10k at this stage, certainly if his alternative destination is Swansea, which wouldn't be for the money. If we could get another 12 months of performances at the level we've seen in recent months, we could do a lot worse. But it does look like he's decided to leave, and I can't blame him. The move has largely been a disaster for both sides and he probably can't wait to get the hell out, especially if he's got something lined up at his hometown club |

I think on decent contract for the club I'd keep him, I was also told his Wife has already relocated back to Wales which to suggests he's off, not an ITK but got no reason to not believe him. |

If we can't get him to perform adequately and consistently with 50k package what fucking hope have we got sticking him on a 10-15k package? |

I know there are plenty dead against him however I hope he does sign (on sensible money) as he now plays a viable role in the team Allen, Baker, Powell there's your midfield 3 for next season |

His anticipation and passing is so much better recently. Would be great to keep him, with Thompson as understudy perhaps, or do we have any young players in the DM mould?
We're going to need so many new players elsewhere in the team it would be nice to minimise this if possible.
