England have had 16 managers since Sir Alf Ramsey in 1974.
Name me one who has taken us further in competitions. We've arguably have had better England squads than the one we have now too.

Is overall record does look good but look at his record against teams ranked in the top ten which you have to beat if your going to win anything. I thinks it’s 6 wins out of 25 I’m in Germany for the duration the players done look like they have a clue what’s going on that’s down to Southgate.

I might be wrong but back in the day there were far less mini countries in Europe as the USSR and Yugoslavia hadn’t been split or there weren’t as many free hit games like San Marino, Faroe Islands and Moldova. Back then playing Denmark or Norway was classed as playing a minnow.

That was shite last night.
But maybe, just maybe, the way in which we won it can be a catalyst for something.
Maybe it also shows Southgate that the likes of Eze, Toney, Palmer etc can make genuine impacts.
One thing this England squad has that many before didn’t is a world class squad, not just starting eleven.
John Stones though. Just fuck off.

Awful manager , easy group and somehow topped it and bizarrely won last night the reverted back to norm for the last 15 minutes with some very poor substitutions.
Come Saturday we’ll be 100% be back to his piss poor approach to the game despite having two of his ever present defenders out.

Just read some of punditry here, entertaining stuff. Fair dos.I don't know why I don't see England like Stoke. Still love it, still invested, still went mental, but it's a different investment. Everything to gain, not as much to lose. It's like a free bet. The country celebrating a long throw/ overhead kick 94th minute equaliser after a game with seventy odd per cent possession just makes it all the sweeter somehow. Beautiful, still in it, can't wait til 5 o'clock Saturday.

Is there a fear of confronting the manager and losing their place in the side? Foden is just a waste of a place over on the left and hes offering absolutely nothing, also with Tripper behind him. Surely somebody has the balls to point this out to Southgate? Quite rightly they dont read or listen to the media, but I think the players should man-up a bit and clear this up with Southgate behind closed doors. I was hoping Foden would miss out last night due to flying back for the birth of his kid, which would enforce a natural change over on the left. He has been totally crap all tournament - hasnt done one good dribble or shot, and his offside goal yesterday was scandalous. He needs DROPPING

For me one of the biggest problems is there’s no natural leaders. Bellinghams probably the closest but he’s still very young.
They all seem very nice but there’s no Stuart Pearce’s, Bryan Robson’s, Terry Butcher’s or even John Terry’s. Players who would lead and bring their teammates along with them.
A moment of brilliance saved us yesterday but we won’t win against the big teams playing like we have all tournament.
Southgate’s stubbornness will cost us in the end unless 3-4 changes / tactical changes take place.

Bellingham needs to be on the ball more and Foden is great at link play with a forward - proved week in week out. We don’t need to defensive midfielders and it’s not working at all. We are too slow at making killer balls and not splitting defences.

There wasnt one stand out performance last night and for me, Bellingham needs to wind his fuckin neck in and stop giving it the big " I am"....fuckin pub player last night he was for me. Hope your keeping well mate....

We are just too slow period. We spend far too much time in our own half. Sometimes you just need to take a chance.

Last night Trippier was waving his arms about in frustration that there wasnt a pass on in front of him all the time. So the players are not stupid and can clearly see what the problem is with the lack of wide players. If he wont play Bellingham as an 8 and Foden at 10 (which for sure he wont), the next best thing is to drop Foden and get Gordon or some other natural winger over on the left. I honestly think if Foden is dropped then things will click into place. He is stinking the place out, I dont think hes put in a single cross from the left in open play.

It’s ‘the luck of the draw’ I’m sure you’ve heard that saying…. I have. I'm still not sure I understand how Southgate is the "luckiest fucker alive". We left it extremely late but there was no luck about either goal. We didn't get the rub of the green with a dubious decision going in our favour. We didn't get the benefit of lucky deflections or other bits of fortune. Criticse him all you like for how passive we are, or the negative tactics. You can't label him lucky for the consistent results he's delivered. And luck of the draw is just bollocks too. We've had luck of the draw in the past and lost to minnows like Costa Rica and Iceland. This will be his last tournament in charge. I'd be extremely surpised if whoever takes over manages to take us as far in major tournaments, on a consisten basis, than Southgate has.

Not seen any of there games, be interesting to see what the bookies think They almost beat Germany, and breezed past (a shit) Italy in their last game. They dont just sit back and defend and are pretty quick on the attack with a lump up forward (Doku) who has been difficult to handle. Shaqiri doesnt start but is a good option off the bench. They would start as favourites based upon results and performances so far. Maybe it could be more end-2-end than other games we have played, but Southgate will probably make it another borefest.

If playing internationals was a league format,we would be top 6,thumping the teams below us,but always lose to the top 4, in the cups we get to quarters, semis & the odd final but never win it.

Kane saying the fans at home will have enjoyed that. Is he joking or full on delusional, scraping through against a league 1 side Did he actually say that ? I thought he said he didn’t know if the fans at home enjoyed it. Ah I may have misheard then. Still get a vibe from the team that the fans are the problem and it’s not them playing shit
