Wonder if he could be a late contender for the England squad. Klopp obviously thinks he's the real deal.

I agree. I think Elliott and Bowen are in with a big shout, particularly Bowen at this stage. Rashford has done absolutely nothing for at least 12 months or Sancho.
Elliot has a great natural talent, he came back the other week after a very serious injury and played as though it never happened, it was great to see and that’s the kind of attitude this team needs.
Bowens work rate and quality in the final third has been a revelation.
I’d have absolutely no qualms about giving Bowen a debut in front of Rashford. Our attacking talent is frightening.

I disagree. When he’s fit and playing regularly he’s a good defender. If he joined Villa or someone he’d become an England regular.

Some bang average strikers have given him the run around far too often to convince me otherwise and that's when he was fit. Still, you're probably right in the fact he'd be in the England squad if he was a regular somewhere.

Get the feeling he’s lost a bit of mojo after his latest injury setback. As you say he’s one of the better centre halves we have as an all round player. One injury too many perhaps, loss of confidence. Wouldn’t be unusual

Foden and Bellingham I'd hope, I'd also bin Henderson from the squad Rice and Phillips are more than enough for the Ryan Woods role

Henderson is a number 8, it’s not the same role. He gets a lot of shit but he’s made the most of his ability.

Sancho will be going regardless of what he's done dur to his reputation and he plays for Man U, although from what I've seen of him this season he should be no where near

Get the feeling he’s lost a bit of mojo after his latest injury setback. As you say he’s one of the better centre halves we have as an all round player. One injury too many perhaps, loss of confidence. Wouldn’t be unusual

And behind 3 very very good defenders too.

Matip is seriously underrated. I think he’d get into most other teams in the league.

Matip is class, reminds me a bit of Rio Ferdinand. Van Dijk is quality of course, Kounate from what I’ve seen is very athletic and a very good covering centre half. Tough for Gomez from here, like you say a move to a mid table side may get him back into the reckoning. Probably be a good one for Newcastle with their new found wealth. Don’t think they’d get much change out of 20m mind. Which when you consider he cost less than 1m from Charlton is some good business
