Agreed. Pickford very good and influential. However, 3-0 with a second string effectively is excellent against a team who are no mugs in my opinion.

I went that game and the cheer that went up for Watkins when he was warming up on about 15 mins said it all. There was a lot of skepticism around the selection before the game.

He can. He should be at DM or if you think he can’t do that then centre half.

No issue with Gallagher as DM with Bellingham and Foden. We have good options.
