i doubt this England team will win anything now, we need a complete new defence walker Maguire tripper all past it who do we have who really, are top class defenders,i really think we have had our best chances of winning anything,

Trippier has retired from international football

Stones has at least two tournaments in him imo
Guehi is young and improving
Walker despite his age is at his peak still,no slower now than 10 years ago and a better player now however looks like Alexander Arnold is getting the right back spot
Issue is at left back and then depth of quality

Not the best set of defenders England have had but feel more comfortable now than in the last few years

I did but that's Adama Traore, he's always been super fast (& little end product, glad we signed Shaqiri instead)

Dont,t get me wrong mate i think walker as been a brilliant england defender my first point was he is coming to the end now, and england do not have a young defender coming threw as good as he as been,as for Traore the finishing as always let him down, very poor ,if he could finish he would be up there with Mbbappe,playing for a top club not fulham,

I actually think he is and will prove it in the coming years. Only reason to say no atm is that he hasn’t been doing it for long enough yet, but I don’t think there’s a better player in the world right now.

Think Walker will play at the highest level till he's 40, motivation and injuries not withstanding

I still like Reece James but he's in a trough
Alexander Arnold is an outstanding attacking right back but isn't great defending

Don’t agree I think he’s a very average player. Only been brought in because Mainoo and Gibbs-Wight have both pulled out and doubt he’ll get any minutes but don’t see how he’s got in.

Wharton hasn’t had a good start to the season but he should be getting in every day of the week ahead of Jones because he’s the future, Jones is not.

I enjoy them, try to catch every game if I can. The friendlies are meaningless but at least the Nations League matches have an element of competition to them. It's just a shame we got relegated, in my opinion due to the god awful scheduling of the previous one.
