Missed him chronically like we always do when he isn't in the side. We don't play with the same tempo and guile without him. You couldn't be more right, and it even shows more when Clucas is the replacement. Would have looked better with Vrancic or Sawyers, but they will all soon be back.

Missed him bad badly today. Just missed that bit of flair up the top. And replaces him with Clucas 😖. Might as well of tried Phillips in the hole behind striker

We’ve got 3 players for that position and all 3 are bloody injured

An absolutely wank spectacle today without Nick Powell in the side.
Apart from a good touch from Wright-Phillips, I can't remember a player controlling the ball. Conditions weren't great but it was atrocious from both sides all afternoon.

He is absolutely crucial to us as today proved it yet again He is, but with his unfortunate history around injuries we need to have an alternative system and players that doesn’t see him being replaced with the likes of Clucas.

I think once Vrancic and Sawyers are fit we’ll have some form of alternative in the way we set up.Clucas is sadly adding nothing to us when in the team

He is absolutely crucial to us as today proved it yet again I don't disagree mate as he is right up there with the best players in this league, but like someone else has alluded to, if Sawyers or Vrancic were available it wouldn't be as noticeable. Sticking Clucas in Powells place is always going to highlight how much we miss him. Biggest mistake by MON today was picking that useless sack of shit.

This. Fruitless to be reliant on such an injury prone player. He's just never going to give us that big run of games.

He’s not really had injuries with Stoke. Yeah. He probably had a trip to Trentam Gardens with the missus today then 🤣 He cracked his fibula and has been coming back from that. He was rushed back into the team because we suck without him, so instead of getting back up to speed, he was just forced to play as many minutes as possible. It’s hardly as if he has been injury prone for Stoke. If you want to highlight injury prone, see Fletcher.

No Powell no Stoke!!!! He’s absolutely class. Without him we have zero creativity in the side as unfortunately Sayers and Mario are injured. NO PLAN B O’NEIL, NO PLAN B!!!!!!!!

We are scoring goals, but we concede way too easy too. Mainly because we let ourselves down with bad defending. A misplaced pass going forward or a crap clearance is way too ofte the way we concede. This is of course often due to lack of consentration, but our pitch looks like a potato field as well right now, and that won't make it any easier I guess.

Or even pushing Baker up to 10.

Why would he, he was up the wirral watching his team get a 94th minute equaliser with their first shot on target. Congratulations on the point hyaduck.

We MUST have at least one of these on the pitch if our system is to work:
POWELL SAWYERS VRANCIC
but we don’t. So we get draws.

I did watch the game, yes we created lot of chances but no end product. We had cross after cross most the time to nobody. That’s what happens when you have no creativity in the side and don’t get me started on the defence, they’re all O’Neill’s players!!!!!!!

We had no creativity today, we looked like a mid table O’Neill side!!!!! You clearly didn't watch the game. We created plenty. Sloppy defending cost us. And sloppy finishing from the usual culprits - Clucas, Brown and Fletcher and a bit of overplaying by JPB and Campbell trying to work a clear opening rather than passing or shooting. Plus an off colour display from Baker who perhaps missed Powell more than anybody.

Yep, virtually all Tymon crosses were too close to the keeper or behind the men running into the box.

I don’t think we created a lot of chances at all.
The game was really dull and the goals seemed to come from nowhere.
0-0 wouldn’t have been a shock with that game tbh.
