Bastard their equaliser right at the death.
We were all but in the play-offs and likely finishing 3rd or 4th which would have meant a guaranteed home tie.
Doh!!!

What absolute nonsense is this ruling?

What absolute nonsense is this ruling? If there's a PL game on then clubs can't show the u23 games. Clubs can apply for exemption to it but they clearly didn't. I'm sure the couple of thousand people at the absolute most who would have watched this match would really affect Sky's viewing figures Wankers.

Agree pathetic, the people that want to watch Palace vs Leeds are hardly going to phased by this also being on. Other than the fact the Prem game was an absolute bore-fest and wanted to watch 4 goals instead. The only thing that it might have affected is the very heathy crowd that showed up for this game (prob 1-2K).

As far as I'm aware there was never any research done re the 3 o'clock TV blackout, it was just excepted as fact. We have been stuck with it ever since. I don't know if, in last night's case, it was Sky objecting or a general rule re broadcasting. Crazily, it doesn't generally apply to mid week games, only Saturdays. For it to apply to a U23's game is madness, or the club couldn't be arsed to put it on. PS. Preston v Blackburn wasn't a bad game.

Couple of thousand really is at most. I’d be shocked if more than a couple of hundred watched U23 games such as Wolves versus Stoke.

Looks like he's involved today (along with DWP and Forrester?) Absolutely inhumane. Ridiculously cramped conditions. Maximum two pegs each and barely room for the sliders and boots. We should refuse to play until they provide facilities becoming of our thoroughbreds.

England U17 goalie, massively rated by everyone really. Just signed his pro deal. Can it be unsigned? That’s a bit harsh. He made an error in a game of little importance and he’s about 17. If he makes errors in senior games, I’d feel different, but the U23 downwards are where some errors are a good thing (as long as you learn from them).

Give him the world. Our best player. Give him the world....maybe for the games he plays. But not when he's injured. As good as he is he has legs made of biscuits and we need a genuine plan B for the times he is not fit..

Give him the world. Our best player. This one hundred percent, he showed when he came on how to play football, he's quality and we are lucky to have him. Makes next weeks nothing game worth going to if he's starting.

needs sorting quickly one way or another now its clear we are not going up this year (ahem) and will illustrate our ambitions. What we have to pay Powell (to extend his contract, or keep him for only 1 year) will have a knock on effect to all our other business this off season.
