I remember watching the YouTube montage of Kurt Zouma & being very impressed as we were about to sign him on loan from Chelsea thinking yes, he'll be awesome for us. That didn't go well did it! Not in anyway comparing Zouma with any of these potential targets but I rarely watch or take much notice of the YouTube highlights of potential players as they rarely accurately portray what we're actually getting. Brek Shea was a prime eg of how looks on there can be deceiving!

Harrowing viewing today watching him. X rated stuff. Yep. I felt like I was watching a wounded dog limping into it's own grave. Not pretty viewing and to be honest, I hate watching that. Not fun. It doesn’t help that he’s played on the left side of the centre. He’s old, not agile and not left footed so MON really is sticking him out to dry by playing him there. I can’t tell if we were playing 5-3-2 today as the formation just looked like chaos, but he definitely can’t tackle when leading with his left.

He had a nasty ACL injury the season before signing for us, which seemed to set him back a bit. Unfortunately that didn’t seem to put us off from paying a massive loan fee!

I defended him when he was getting pelters on here last year because I felt it was harsh and he did reasonably well (23 clean sheets), but I’ve seen today a once decent defender who’s simply playing on memory. His legs have gone.

He also got influenced by the Choupo - Moting clique who seemed to be at the club for a good time rather than serious football

Sounds to me very much like MoN is trying to manage fans expectations during this window. So who knows if this will happen

Truthfully, I could not tell what that formation was, perhaps owing to the chaos between Fox and Chester that seemed to occur every time we were out of possession. If he was centre of three, then he was just atrocious without really having a decent excuse for being so yesterday

It doesn't sound as if the picture Scholes paints about the club's position on his exit, is anything other than his arse covering. I wonder if we do bring anybody in, which CEO hybrid might make a comment, the programme seller or the chef at the training ground?.

Looks like MON was bluffing about nothing being imminent then.
I thought the Harwood-Bellis noise seemed too strong to be wrong

Does anyone know much about this lad?Does he possess the quality of bringing the ball out and being comfortable on the ball?We desperately need this in our back line with the loss of Souttar.

I've not seen him but my citeh supporting mate has seen him a few times and says he very good. Apparently he's highly rated by Pep so you'd think he's certainly going to be comfortable on the ball.

Well either MON is a very good liar, or a deal out for one of our players has been agreed.

Well either MON is a very good liar, or a deal out for one of our players has been agreed. To be fair to MON, he's probably already accounted for this deal as part of the Ostigard loan return. He's probably talking about other deals outside of this one, which I think most would accept we probably need players out first.
