Great so we let one young good prospect loanee centre back go back because he couldn't get in the first team and now we're looking at another - what is the point? Is he going to come here and sit on the bench which he could do in Anderlecht or will he be a replacement for Batth or Wilmot with MON seemingly turning back to a 4-3-3. Surely a DCM would be a better option. Gouranga. Clearly we had an agreement with Ostigard that he plays when fit whereas it may not be the case with this fella. He may also be a better player.

When did double barrelled names stop being the preserve of posh people? At my state primary no child had more than one last name. Apparently now 11% of people aged between 18 and 34 double-barrell their surname when they get married. Keeping up with the Smith-Joneses I guess! Seems to be common for young London players in particular. Maybe just boasting to the locals that they know who their father is Is it always based on their parents? Could be a sponsorship thing, as my mate Velcro Mercedes-Lidl will testify……

Sounds more like my sex life✊🏻 French men in tight lycra? There's nearly 200 contestants and only about 10% are French but you got the other bit right 🙂

This isn’t a thing in football. Do you mean that he is expecting a certain level of involvement and we weren’t giving it him? If we had that agreement, he wouldn’t have missed a game.

The amount of double barrelled names in society nowadays is sod all to do with feminism or power grabbing by women etc. etc.
It's pretty simple really, there are far more kids nowadays than ever before being born to unmarried parents. They take both surnames as otherwise it's unclear whether you are the natural parent or not if the child only takes one of the parents' surnames.

If he's a Chester replacement I'd gladly roll out the red carpet but let's be honest we could bring Shawcross back and he'd be better than Chester. Gouranga.

Anderlecht has almost certainly lost Taylor Harwood-Bellis. The defender was absent for the Purple & White exhibition matches today as he is already in England completing his new loan spell to Stoke City.

Seems clear he’s there to play with Batth and Wilmott in a back three. Not only does it mean the end of Chester but we’ll hopefully never see Fox at left centre back again. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Or anywhere else for that matter. A left footed centre back who isn’t awfully slow and can pass a ball is exactly what we need regardless of whether it’s four or five at the back. I’m left footed and hated playing right side, it’s bloody awkward to tackle. Perhaps we do need to play three at the back, because our midfield don’t seem interested in playing the ball forward. Three at the back looks fine when the wide backs can pass and the wing backs want it in front of them.

Don’t stress on that one not many do albeit he may be a top player so let’s see looks like ryan did at the start physically

Fox is a steady enough back up left back in a four. Chester is so far out of his depth it’s untrue. Even he must be amazed he’s still starting in the championship. They both make Batth look excellent.

Harwood-Bellis to leave Anderlecht The departure of Taylor Harwood-Bellis is becoming clearer. The young English defender will logically end the season at Stoke City, resident of the Championship (English D2).
A carefully considered choice. A starter at the beginning of the season alongside Wesley Hoedt, he lost his place after being placed in quarantine as a contact case. Since then, Lisandro Magallan has assumed the role of titular.
The player's desire for more playing time - he remains on 12 minutes in seven league games - coupled with the return of Hannes Delcroix. The Belgian offers an additional option in defense. The young Zeno Debast (18) will be the fourth central defender in the hierarchy.
Last element to take into consideration: Anderlecht is relieving itself of a salary for the rest of the season. RVP
