There are plenty of videos like this...
Russia is pulling out everything. Reliable sources say they're expecting to make about 6k howitzer shells per day soon, but they're firing more like 10k+.
They're scraping the bottom of the barrel to keep firing as much as they are. And the 6k they're "making" might include refurbishing ancient ones. The factories get to report them as new production.

Semi-famous American who went to fight for russia against Ukraine back in 2014.
He did youtubing and stuff. It's other russian sources confirming he was tortured and murdered by russian soldiers. Dunno about the rape part.

Dunno about the rape part. I think the measure of a man can often be inferred from the quality of his eulogisers. "Russell Bentley, aka 'Texas', a long-term defender of the people of Eastern Donbass, has been found dead. It seems likely that he was kidnapped and murdered by a Ukrainian death squad. He will be sorely missed. RIP." Nick Griffin

US $61 billion aid package passed by House of Representatives. I fear this is a 'day late and a dollar short' as they say stateside. I gather it will take 6 or 7 months to impact the battlefield. That's way too late.

According to late News Sweden:
USA will send a help package to Ukraine worth $50 billion.

That's way too late. If it includes artillery ammo and long-range Anti-air I think it could make a big difference in blunting the russian summer offensive. But there's a good chance russia has lined up so much kit for now that it will still look like they're on top. But it should save loads of territory and Ukrainian lives.

Pretty conservative, well informed American commentator.
I think there's a good chance he's right. All the delays have made the war more expensive and bloody.
We can either spend more now, or a lot lot lot lot more later. It's so fucking stupid we aren't sending more now, to save enormous amounts of blood and cash.
I'm writing to my MP about this - if you want to help Ukraine you can do the same. Ask for more money, ask to allow storm shadows to hit military targets in russia, for more factories to be built now, and for us to send challengers and warriors to Ukraine when they're decommissioned.

That's way too late. Russia won't win the war this summer let's see how it all looks in 2025 At some point Ukraine gets jet fighters too The longer it goes on the harder it gets for Russia to win Ukraine doesn't need to 'win' militarily they just need an exhausted Russia to go home which will happen eventually post Putin Could be many years and many more deaths and misery

Russia will never take Ukraine, if it didn’t before the majority of Ukraine now hates Russia, if Russia did advance a long way into Ukraine they would never be able to hold the whole country. They would have to deal with uprisings and gorilla warfare for years and years.
I do actually think that if it looked like Russia would take the whole country the rest of Europe would get involved with boots on the ground as a last resort to stop Putin.

Unconfirmed claim but there's a video with some smoke coming from vaguely the correct dimension.
Funny if Ukraine did hit it - apparently it's the oldest active military ship about, over 100 years old!

Sounds plausible. Russia might rush its offensive to try and get some gains before the US aid starts to arrive.
They were already going hard to exploit the republicans' pro-Putin blockade, but maybe russia expected they'd have more time.

I’d go as far to say the “new supplies” were sitting somewhere in Europe waiting to be immediately delivered, never a question that the American bill wouldn’t get passed creating a guessing game for Russia on what to do, hence there’s massive Russian surges all over the front

Ukraine lost some crucial fortifications.
It sounds like a unit broke, likely because of lack of ammo plus manpower issues.
The republicans' pro-Putin blockade is the single biggest cause of russian gains and needless Ukrainian casualties since October, but in maybe third place there was the cowardice and idiocy of Ukrainian politicians delaying mobilisation.
Lots of units are undermanned and not getting rotated. Now they're losing important fortifications, taking needless casualties and now new recruits will get less training time because they have to rush to the front.
We're doing similarly stupid things by not rearming faster and sending more aid to Ukraine. All so politicians can take the easy route for now.

Russia looks like it's trying to demolish Kharkiv, over a million people loved there.
Ukraine's defenders are keeping them outside artillery range, and russian artillery has declined from what they had in 2022. The problem is missiles and glide bombs that are currently unstoppable.

Looks like another ~6 weeks before there's even hope of substantial deliveries of ammo from the Czech supplies.
The US aid finally passed the House. With Biden and Democratic Senate control there should be no major problems for US aid. The first shells should hit the front lines within weeks.
Putin's window is closing - it remains to be seen if air power + all the Ukrainians killed thanks to the help of the Republicans' blockade will give Putin more wins this year.

Really bad situation where part of the Ukrainian front collapsed. One brigade is being blamed.
Worst case this will be exploited by russia and crack open a whole part of the defences.
Only possible because of the ammo starvation Ukraine has been forced to endure for 6 months now.

It's grass fire season in Ukraine too right now, so it's hard to read into satellite fire data... But there could be another major russian attack going on right now.
I'd expect more really hard pushes starting about now.

Some big announcements made today.
Rishi Sunak is set to announce a new £500m military aid package for Ukraine. The aid is expected to include more than 400 vehicles and more than 1,600 strike and air defence missiles.
And also
The UK will increase defence spending to 2.5% of national income by 2030, the prime minister is expected to announce in a hardening of military policy at a time of growing threats.
The expected rise is less ambitious than some insiders say is needed - but it will mean tens of billions of additional pounds for the armed forces over the next six years.
The above is from Sky News.
My own personal worry is will Labour also commit to this if they win the next election?
