Looking at the video, only one missile hit those soldiers. There were two others, supposedly the whole area was a training camp and it had loads of vehicles but I couldn't see them.
Definitely heard from drone pilots that russia has prepared lots of big camps near the front with tons of vehicles, ready for the summer offensive.
Unfortunately, russia also seems to have finally deployed widespread GPS jamming, which has made so many weapons ineffective.
Should have sent a lot more guided weapons earlier, now most of them are being wasted on misses.

It doesn't end soon Eventually post Putin Russia goes home Do they though? They arent going to walk away from their newly acquired territory, surely? A lot will depend on who succeeds Putin. There are a lot of rich and powerful people who are losing out because of Russian sanctions and while no-one appears to be moving against him at the moment things could move quite quickly if an opportunity arises. The invasion of Ukraine is very much a Putin initiative - he sees himself as Tzar reclaiming lost Soviet territory. If Putin goes there is a good chance the next leader won't share Putin's view that the invasion of Ukraine was a good idea and would be prepared to negotiate a withdrawal. Unless of course the next leader is some batshit crazy Russian Nationalist but even then they might not have Putin's power base to remain in power for long. You are right in that as things stand the chances of a Russian withdrawal are next to zero but things can change very rapidly with a change at the top. Just look at the fall of the Soviet empire - that fell apart pretty quickly and if you want to get an idea of how things can pan out in moments of crisis give the film The Death of Stalin a go.

Russia blew up a postage depot in Odesa after cluster bombing civilians there last night.
The only weapons that stop these ballistic missiles are Patriot and SAMP-T, and only patriot are available in big numbers.
We're not sending enough.

First hit from what looks like a Javelin in ages.
Ukraine had been relying almost entirely on mines and drones because of the ammo starvation.
So Russia was loading tanks up with cages and sheds to get through, some Mad Max shit. Javelins still work though.

(Supposedly) ATACMS took out at least one more expensive S-300 air defence launcher in occupied Crimea.
Last 2 days were cloudy so there could be more damage that the russians cleaned up.

Russia illegally using chemical weapons.
This is their usual strategy - try something small first. Maybe ATACMS finally going were the punishment?

Just some of the russians fighting to conquer Ukraine and being allowed out and about in the occupied territories.
Imagine being a Ukrainian father there knowing a cannibal and child murderer are basically allowed to do what they want to your family.

The 69th (nice 😎) Buk air defence launcher we've seen russia lose on video.
They used to charge about $10 million per launcher for these things. And it's the system russia used to shoot down the Malaysia Airlines flight.
It's fucking beautiful every time one blows up.

I can never understand how anyone can really envisage Russia rolling over Europe any time soon or if ever. They have three borders to defend. One with western Europe, one with China, and the far East with the US. If they trust the Chinese then they must be more stupid than they are seen as.

I'm pretty sure nukes mean their borders are safe. That's why he's stripped defence units from everywhere to send into Ukraine. My worry isn't that they'll roll over Europe instantly. It's that they'll roll over countries one at a time and if we surrender a single inch of the Baltics then NATO is done. My big worry is Xi Jinping's watching. If we ever force Ukraine to surrender then that's an enormous flashing green light saying "INVADE TAIWAN - the West will let you have it".

This is how russians treat people they don't see as strong.
Any Ukrainian surrender will be met with torture and murder.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs in Sweden, Conservative (M) Tobias Billström says it's injudicious and irresponsible to have this exercise and test these weapons now. It will only make the European instability situation worse.
Just about everyone thinks if Russia can't win this war against Ukraine and asap they will use nuclear weapons to win it. I read somewhere they are already using biochemical weapons. I don't know if it's true, but if so, surely against the "rules"?

No wonder since Russia basically is first side top news on a daily basis now when the pandemic is over. And the Swedish experts you can see talking here on tv every week. But here's what a Swedish expert says about the American opinion in their government and the CIA. "The expert: It happens regularly - but takes on a different tone now. Russia conducting an exercise with tactical nuclear weapons is a way to show off its weapons and happens regularly. That's what Oscar Jonsson, PhD in Russian warfare at the Norwegian Defense Academy, tells TV4. - But it takes on a different tone when about a month ago there was a revelation from CNN that the US government believes that there is about a 50 percent probability that Russia would use them, Jonsson told TV4. In 2022 CNN reported the CIA estimated the risk of a Russian nuclear attack at least was 50 percent – if Ukraine made a serious push to try to retake Crimea.

Sadly we don't know if the launchers were there during the hit. They were in place a few days before though.

Interesting - interviews with frontline commanders say they desperately need engineering equipment like diggers for trenches.
Now there are leaves on the trees so it's safer to dig without getting drone bombed.

Russia expected to force mobilise Ukrainians from areas occupied in 2022.
They already did it in the 2014 occupied areas.
In 10 months Donetsk said their slave soldiers fighting for russia took almost 20k casualties. It's probably more than double that now - which would be like the UK taking 1.2 million casualties.
