No great surprise. A bald man will not become leader, so you can rule out Javid and Zahawi too, if they stand. Good point. Last properly slaphead PM was Atlee.

Is it military hour in the tory party? Wallace, Tugenhadt and Baron? Seems a bit of consensus on Wallace and Tugenhadt at being the best of a tory bunch. I'll be imminently planning my exit from this God forsaken country if we get Javid, Rees-Mogg, Sunak, Patel, Raab etc... Give me ex military person any day of the week (except Tobias Ellwood) to be PM over these career politicians. They have a better understanding of the value of life, how to lead, can think and plan strategically and, when necessary, not shy away from tough decisions that need to be made just because a few might get upset and blart.

Ben Wallace withdrawn from the race. Be vry interesting where his endorsement goes. The is great news for the not so neutral. Fair play to him, he knows what he's doing in his current job and we need him there to sort Putin. I can now sit back get out the popcorn and watch all the other evil shysters eat each other, safe in the knowledge they are all shit.

Can Labour bring back David Milliband, a proper politician. Or even promote Andy Burnham from mayor of Manchester?

Can Labour bring back David Milliband, a proper politician. Or even promote Andy Burnham from mayor of Manchester? David Milliband is far too smarmy and creepy in my opinion. And Burnham is a populist who says what he thinks people want to hear, in my opinion. There is little substance to him. That said, I think enough people would be taken in by Burnham that he may stand a good chance of winning power back for Labour so perhaps he might be the best option . But I hope better options emerge over the next couple of years.

Most probably know this, but snakes, the place be full of em Yes it will along with this clip cause serious problems for him, I have previously said I'd pick Javid but if the rumours are true that he wanted another lockdown in december 21 he is toast, I think the next leader will be female, one of Badenoch, Braverman or Truss, Mordaunt might have had a chance but she believes if a bloke puts a dress on they're a woman. www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/rishi-sunak-working-middle-class-b2119484.html

Probably still working on her re-creation of how Thatcher entered the Tory Leadership race back in 1975...few days yet... The Mail appear to have nailed their colours to her mast though so we can probably assume from that that she'll be a fucking disaster.

I must say, there are a lot of ethnic minority candidates for such a racist party! It’s true. Lots of women too. All very good and diverse and inclusive. It is a very woke group of candidates. It’s a shame that under most of their policies, Zahawi and Patel certainly wouldn’t be here (Zahawi would be on a plane to Rwanda). Possibly others. It is also a shame that Braverman and Bandenoch (sp) are basing their campaign on creating culture wars, dividing the country and waging a war on anything woke!

At the end of the day all the campaigns are a sham, as is the party vote. Democracy my arse. All we have to do is see where the media and Murdoch vote is going. Truss seems to have 1 vote in the can. The others in varying amounts seem to have dirt surfacing. The other thing we can see is the press and the rich believe a tax cut is the only way to win a GE. Sadly its the one thing we can't afford but don't worry someone, not you, will be better off in the long run.
