Can’t agree with that, I’ve been watching darts for decades and the standard now is far higher than ever before As in there are more better players but I think the players back then had real bottle you don’t see much of now. Just how I see it, might be wrong. Did you see the standard that Peter Wright produced to beat Smith in the players Championship, came from way behind with stunning darts. I loved John Lowe, Jocky, Eric etc but I think todays players are much better (Taylor excluded) |

He’s 24 but played in and won the juniors the other week. Lost badly tonight Yep beat Nathan Rafferty, agreed that the booing was terrible but he’s not a kid anymore |

Problem with the crowd at Ally Pally is that about 5% of them are knowledgeable Darts fans and the rest are a pissed up rabble out for a good time, and they will just jump on whatever bandwagon they can to entertain themselves. I've been once, and whilst it was a good crack, I wouldn't be arsed about going again, after singing "boring boring tables" and "kolo toure" for the 7 millionth time, and drinking absolute piss in 4 pints pitchers it got a bit tedious to be fair  |

Getting a bit sick of the circus surrounding Sherrock now as much as I like her. She’s there on merit, get on with it, no need to keep going on about glass ceilings or whatever bollocks Sky keep harping on about.

But you’d imagine that side of his game will only improve as he gets older, definitely a good prospect. |

Barry has quite an odd throw. Earlier the commentators were mentioning his darts and how flat they were landing in the board. The last leg they were quite parallel to the floor. Very strange how it has changed mid match. His normal throw usually sees his flights pointing towards the floor. I don’t like it as it causes blockages at times His throw has been compared to Taylor’s but for me Taylor’s were a lot flatter. Not that it’s affecting his performance tonight 🤣 |
