Yes and great to see that after missing being involved,the guy,despite having 5 World Championships under his belt, meritoriously earned his tour card at Q school in order to make a return. It's what irks when I hear the likes of Wayne Mardle and the accompanying media circus saying Fallon Sherrock should be given a tour card,fine player though she undoubtedly is (and probably the best female player in the game at the moment by some distance,) Barney did it,Lisa Ashton did it (with almost zero fanfare,) a whole plethora of players have had to do it. I just wish Gary Anderson would hit the heights he's capable of more frequently,and win another WC or two.Lovely fluid rhythm when he's on fire... |

TBF that’s the biggest thing in darts. Taylor always used to say he’d get hammered on the floor but when it counted on stage there was only a handful that could handle it. |

It's an absolute lottery as to who will win it. Wouldn't touch the outright betting markets with a bargepole.
Can't really discount MVG on his day but he's not won much all year, but if I was having a stab I'd go for Peter Wright. There's about 6-8 players who could win it this year though it's wide open and will come down to fine margins (literally).
