He said tonight no matter what circumstances we haven’t changed the system as though it’s a badge of honour so id be surprised . Dec is lookimg horrible id take 3 points now beforevJanuary 1st if offered and that will make top ten a stretch Every month looks tough. Every month sees us plummeting down the table. Classic benji……. Let’s see where we are on January 1st

Michael. O’Neill. Didn’t. Miss. All. The. First. Half. Chances. Or. Fail. To. Defend. A. Long. Throw. Poor from the players, should have won that comfortably……. Correct he couldn't put the chances away but yet again his game management and inability to change the game hasn't helped. 1st sub on 71 minutes AGAIN while losing the game is inexcusable It’s not inexcusable is it though? It’s football. They also beat QPR at Loftus Road and drew versus Fulham. I wonder if they went into meltdown and thought it would be the end of the world?

Also I just want to say, I’ve criticised Sawyers but for me tonight he was the only player looking for the pass between the lines and no one offered any real quality. Really, thought he was fuckin toss..!!!! Wish he’d fuck off back to WBA. Hardly ever found our player, and blamed them for is miss passes.. He’s playing alongside Allen? He’s got multiple jobs to do. He’s the type of player to sit deep and thread balls in, Allen should be covering him and he had no protection hence getting scapegoated on here. The real issue is Allen, he’s garbage

Why do we wait until 70 minutes to make a sub when it was clear as day that one of the front two needed to be subbed at 45 minutes.

Like I said, he couldn't put the ball in the back of the net himself and the players need a massive word with themselves BUT, MON has no idea how to change the game tactically when we need it

How did we lose that! They only created a couple of chances from throw-ins, and we wasted at least 5 very good chances! How this shit ref managed to avoid giving us a penalty is another matter, and on top of this they kicked or threw the ball away at every set piece situation in the second half without being punished. Awful from the m.... in black!

The team MON put out there should have won this 5 -1 Benj.. The only mugs out there tonight wore green shirts. Disagree their game plan was obvious hang in , make it a battle and these will disintegrate exactly what happened , as fletchers first chance hit the post how many said that’s us done . He had to change that midfield after saturday , as so many said on Saturday night he didn’t and paid the obvious price it’s candidly naive or pathetic or both The midfield pretty much picked itself though didn't it ? Again I will say if we just take half the clear cut chances we created we win the game, simple as.

Oh dear. Joe let himself and all of us down tonight. With all of the injuries plus two players under suspension now. December is going to be very bleak.

One of the players he brought on had played something like 55 mins of league football for us since signing (Doughty) and Campbell does tend to look knackered after 15 mins as well. The only sub he perhaps didn’t have an obvious excuse for and could have done earlier would have been the Ince one.

It's kind of his job to get them to be able to do their jobs though, no? We’ll if we were working on starting on the front foot and cutting them open and getting an early lead it worked a treat, except the players didn’t stick the ball in the back of the net…… Mate you're wasting your time. The mob's sensing blood. Just let them vent. Then perhaps the grown ups can return to the board tomorrow. This one is down to the players and to some degree a totally inept ref.

One things for certain, that co-commentator (Hinchcliffe?) once had a bad experience on a trip to the Potteries, miserable prick really doesn’t like us does he? I think it was Goodman.

Just when MON starts to win back a bit of favour he yet again oversees another massive clusterfuck - we'll not win for another 3 games now Bin him off - he's not got what it takes So the 9 players out hasn’t affected his options then. He’s a great manager. Look where we were when he took over. Tonight was just one of those days. We were the better side just didn’t get the breaks.

Allen gave the ball to the opposition 16 times. 16. My god, thank fuck he can't play at the weekend. That's nearly 5-10 mins of possession a match saved without him being their best player!

General Comments I’ve heard on here: People moaning about Smith as a full back…. so apparently we can’t play as a back four. People moan about Tymon……but he’s only ever had one decent game for us in centre midfield, so we probably shouldn’t use him there. People argue that Wilmot should go in the centre of midfield (because he played there for a game when on loan in diapers)…..but apparently he also cannot pass. We got hit hard over the International break with our first choice goalkeeper, newly established first choice defensive midfielder and well-established first name on the team sheet all injured. What team would you have played tonight?
