I honestly can't remember that one game he played, but I do remember that in my first couple of seasons here we used to regularly have problems in the full back positions & had to delve into the youth teams to find basically anyone who was eligable to fill in. The mad thing is though this fellas contract ran out at the end of the second season, unlike all the others though no-one ever signed him & he didn't leave on a free, so I just left him there, for season after season.

Bought a new laptop after my 5 year old laptop had become unusable and got my FM bug back.

Got a database that allows me to go down a few more levels in England. Started unemployed and went forward a few months, ended up at Buxton. Got a load of leagues and countries loaded so hoping to bounce around and work my way up.

Tend to struggle these days to pick a team so I create a manager who has the lowest coaching badge so it limits me to lower level jobs, go into around October and start looking at what jobs have come up. I like the randomness of it and it keeps it realistic to begin with to a certain point, plus it's too obvious to start at Stoke to begin with.

First season done. Buxton were near the bottom when I took over in November, finished 7th, managed to get a decent system together towards the end of the season.

Completely revamped the squad over the summer with a load of free transfers, currently 9 points clear with 2 games in hand. Also made it into the FA Cup First Round, will be playing South Shields who are 1 division higher in the Conference North. Managed an xG of 4.22 in one game and only scored twice 😂
